  1. Yep
  2. No biggie. I just wondered if it really was?
  3. The second to last link says Critical Duty has been discontinued...
  4. Stopped in BassPro as I passed today. No 9mm Hornady CD or 9mm HST on the shelf. Their site said they should have had one or the other. Oh well. They were having a kids Halloween event and it was packed. I did not try to browse. Lol
  5. That is why when I used to work where I could I had everything shipped to work. My wife's idea of a lot of ammo is a 50 round box. Having 1k show up one time left me thinking she was gonna try to check me into the Looney bin. I would rather have ammo that one day my grandkids call antique than to run out.
  6. Finally an artist's rendering of what the guy is really trying to get to behind the fence. Next time we request an artist that can distinguish a cat from a mongoose....
  7. Man, I don't remember you letting us know that??? Not bad for a shooter grade.
  8. I did not see any recent topics about this. So what is everyone using for carry ammo?
  9. I think 8 days was how soon mine came in earlier this month when I got mine for the first time. I did do lifetime too.
  10. Well for all the planning they did, did neither think a pizza cutter was not the best idea. I think this is less about satan and their parent's political views than 2 girls looking for attention and/or help. The media gives so much attention to things like this that some people see it as a way to be known.
  11. I was about a month old.... I do remember my Mom having the book. As a 12 year old the cover both excited me (nude lady swimming ) and terrified me. Of course even in the movie I don't think the shark is that big. Those teeth on the cover are like 18 inches long is proportioned the same as the lady. Lol
  12. He is gonna really regret that when he comes down off that high.
  13. I have been discussing making a forge with another member coincidently. It is not expensive to cobble one together. If you just try to use the torch in the open it will be hard to keep good heat. That mild steel would probably be doable, but not any steel like you see on Forged in Fire. Just a warning those knives can look cool, but lots of time they end there. The spike steel is not good steel to try and harden to an serviceable edge. Here is an example of a homemade propane forge. Even this would work better because you can heat the metal more evenly. Credit to the other member I mentioned.
  14. I have a EAA Windicator .357 and Taurus .22 revolvers. All go bang everytime I pull the trigger. Are they as good as my old Smith revolvers, probably not, but even new Smiths are not. Lol
  15. Great. I plan on picking one or two up the next time I am there to use for this and other items. Not foolproof as we have said, but provides that extra layer and time involvement that might make bad guys pass it for an easier target.
  16. Yeah I have the .22 single barrel Henry. It is like carrying a boat anchor. I love that it is waterproof, but the little bag that comes with it is only good to carry it to/from the range or maybe drop it in a trunk. If you could pull the pin on that one and spin the end around so the end of the barrel somehow fit in the butt and locked. Min barrel length would complicate it some.
  17. That list is a bit more like "How to Survive" than a fiction novel. My list has some of the same books. http://leveledsurvival.com/recommended-books/ @Dirtshooter So anything else you can remember? My GoogleFu is coming up.empty.
  18. I remember watching that on TV. I still think my parents have the vcr tape I used to record the playback from the new reports. It was hard to believe.
  19. Here is one for you boaters...
  20. Pretty much sums it up...
  21. The original Night of the Living Dead in B&W or Nosferatu from 1922. Classics!
  22. Peanuts...all I gotta say about it...
  23. I think with Rick leaving and Maggie having a limited set of episodes this season, it is looking like the down hill slide.
  24. We won't judge. What happened in Italy stays in Italy.
