  1. Hello from the other end of the state.
  2. Selling to them (same company) will net you MAYBE a bit more than a pawn shop, but no where near market value. Plus I am not sure they appraise unless they are offering to buy. Plus. if like our local one, the best they can do is a gun values book and a Google search as to value. Remember they are buying to RESELL.
  3. Let me warn you to take Gunbroker and other auction site prices with a grain of salt. There are a good reference, but I see things sell there WAY over the prices you would see locally. I echo above. Get details and post a list.
  4. Remember to ask for help guys! Surely a few buddies could have changed the outcome here. https://ktla.com/news/man-rescued-from-under-2000-pound-safe/amp/ "A Virginia man was hospitalized after becoming trapped under a massive gun safe, the Glasgow Volunteer Fire Department said. Firefighters said the man had been trying to unload the safe on March 9 when he fell and got pinned under it. Firefighters estimated the safe weighed 2,000 pounds."
  5. Our card company told us once that some thieves sorta go fishing. They make small purchases on lots of cards to verify which are still open. My wife had it happen with a 99 cent Apple song. The bank said then they either resell the verified good numbers or use the ones still open in a while figuring they are watched less.
  6. I concur on posting on the S&W forum. I have had some oddball things identified there. Just be aware that even the 4th ed. of the Standard Catalog has a few misprints. I think there is even a thread on the forum to post possible issues to be reviewed. Those gutys take it serious.
