  1. Did it have a bcg?
  2. I have mentioned them before and keep wanting to order but haven't yet. 22mods4all has some great kit prices that just need a stripped lower to complete. Here is an example at $209. So if you say $50 for a lower, it is still in a great price range for not having to search out parts. (EDIT) I FORGOT TO ADD YOU STILL NEED A BCG. $79 is their cheapest. https://22mods4all.com/sa16-operator-alpha-series-16-1-8-parkerized-carbine-builder-kit-with-alpha-stock-kit-10-keymod-gen2-handguard/
  3. South Dakota has become the latest state to remove permit requirements for gun owners to carry and conceal their weapons. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/south-dakota-becomes-latest-state-to-allow-concealed-handguns-without-permit.amp
  4. My Dad bought a pound of black power as a teenager and using an old car part managed to tear a sizeable hole in the ground out in the pasture. I just took apart black cat fireworks and used that powder to be a nuisence. Glad to see we have some experienced powder makers
  5. Just do a AR-9. If the brace is outlawed, just pull it off. If AR pistols are outlawed, add a stock and longer barrel and have a rifle.
  6. I think I remember at one point a sales tax refund was done. I can't remember how it worked though.
  7. I am aweful short on both these days
  8. I have been looking at it even beyond that. How to produce the ingredients too. More of a "I want to know how" than actually making it. Right now, I would just buy it. If things got bad, it might be necessary at some point. Eventually ammo will run out if things are chaotic. It would take a bit of trial and error, but most calibers could be reloaded with it. You would lose some power, but it would still fire. Or at least you could revert to flintlocks if you could not make primers. Just get things in my head to explore.
  9. Just looking to discuss making black powder from scratch. I can read all day long on it, but has anyone tried it?
  10. Still pricey for me. I know it is accommodations and everything, but $750 would buy lots of pork. Then if you need it butchered add $150. I would love to take my dad and enjoy the experience, but my budget is not there. I would love to try them on the WMAs, but I hear the same thing. They are there, but hard to get.
  11. Just in case your last bit was not sarcastic I FIFY.
  12. Welcome! I just drove through Marion today on my way back from further North. I am south of you too.
  13. FIFY lol
  14. A bit more like legos, but they make them. https://www.waterbrick.org/product-uses/
  15. It almost all sounds made up. Having to video opening and closing jaws???? This is an anti-hunters wet dream to publicize. I have never been interested in hunting predators. I just prefer to kill food I guess.
  16. Yeah but someone like Demo Ranch does tgat crap for a living. Lol
  17. Oh crap, we have to get someone on YouTube to try that....
  18. Vacumm sealing them then even just stacking them in plastic tubs would work. This is an ok idea as far as keeping the ammo fresh. Still potential to bump the cans and break the seal. A good novelty gift, but I agree ammo cans are Still better for me too. I don't see grabbing a six pack of these and heading out the door the same as an ammo can.
  19. You have one of the less common ones in that Hornet. You know you don't need both. You could live without the .357 I saw a hornet model for sale somewhere the other day. Not many go up for sale. I have a 30-30/20ga that I really like. I just love the idea of a .357 Model paired with a good .357 wheelgun.
  20. Looks like it may not. A facebook post yesterday said the bbuilding owner is demolishing the range last week of January if no one can buy the building from him.
  21. I pass an old house turned into a storage building with that on it every time I go out the back way from my house. I guess in the day it upscaled the house visually. Kind of like linoleum tile inside.
  22. If @Murgatroy says he wears yoga pants with a built in holster I am leaving. lmao...
  23. Try being a fat guy in tight clothes.....
  24. Tough market to get into, but with ammo so cheap less people are reloading in quantity. If tgey make good stuff tgat is priced decent they will do well though
  25. I remember a Vietnam era US sniper talking about using the enemy's glow from a cigarette as a target aid. Not sure I want anything extra glowing if I am in a tactical situation. Also, I am in the "Why do I need to spend more money?" camp. I know where the safety is and what position equals fire and safe. This provides no functional benefit.
