  1. If memory serves me correct, IJ beat S&W in coming up with this and S&W had to wait until the patent expired to use the design. I have an IJ, but the hamerless version.
  2. I am getting in early. Gonna buy all the black powder rifles I can. Sadly I see a future where that might be all we can use....
  3. I did this with the Dodge Caravan I used to have. Ended up with 2 programmed and cut keys for less than 1 from the dealership. I even still paid them to cut and program it in the total cost. .
  4. Why not just .50 cal if you are going that far. Lol
  5. This is the trap I got. $25. Well worth it. It folds for storage. I got my ground hog out of the way with it. https://www.harborfreight.com/32-in-x-15-in-x-10-in-medium-animal-trap-63008.html
  6. I am looking to get rid of a roll of old cannon fuse.....sounds like you might need it. (Just kidding....I don't give that type of stuff away lol)
  7. Any insight into who has those?
  8. My Papaw used to live trap them and toss a tarp over the cage. Then he set it totally underwater in the pond. Problem solved. A terap near water that could be drug in from afar by a rope would work too.
  9. Mine prefers launching cordless phones, remotes, and other handy items at my head. Not sure which is worse...
  10. On the other side he may be alive because of it. If he had broke in suddenly he might have been taken away a few ounces heavier.
  11. I think about a lot of things that are only legal to buy on "ranches" in Nevada.
  12. So my question is: Why was a violent offender ("aggravated child abuse and especially aggravated kidnapping") doing out on basically unsupervised grounds duty? My Papaw was the litter pickup officer in my home county. He took guys out every day. They were usually only the drunk and disorderly or check fraud type people. He never let them out of his sight. He made it clear he would not chase them, he was too old for that. He had 6 friends that could outrun any of them. He never got anything but respect from them because they knew it was a privilege to get out in the fresh air. He would not take anyone out that he felt would be an issue. So is the prison so hard up for funds for grounds keeping and staff that they have to let inmates roam freely?
  13. And one day the local pd is gonna have one hell of a story to tell about an accidental shooting.....lol
  14. One other thought is you could put a piece of 3/4 plywood down to sit it on to help distribute the weight. For looks, you could always put a area rug on top of plywood to cover it.
  15. You might want to check out "The package" from these guys if you want to go all live. https://tbsaltwater.com/thepackage/contents.html I am not sure on weight, but I have always had an aversion to having aquariums upstairs. Eventually something always happens to have a leak. We have had many, just never salt water. The wife always wanted, but money and time commitment made us hold off
  16. I am guessing if he killed a corrections employee, even an administrator, she had a gun he took.
  17. He looks like he got his nose broke once ...or a dozen times.

    Catch 22

    That's crazy.....
  19. Most 7-11s I have been in barely have 21 feet of room in any direction.
  20. More complicated that it is used and an inbound transfer...
  21. I got a less invasive suggestion outside the forum. To put a penny on the face where the firing pin protrudes and dry fire it. If the penny launches, then it is good. Not sure if that model will fire broken open, but might be worth a try.
  22. Just don't tell the ones trying to ban AR pistols tgat I can get a drum mag for my Glock...
  23. Yeah, I have had that a few places too. Bought at one place that never took it off and just gave me the lock "key" as I left.
  24. All depends on what the actual overhead was.
  25. Does that work in a long gun? I have heard of 1911s tested that way. @Jamie Jackson Unfortunately they do not.
