I had some chocolate lavender stout a buddy brewed at home. Was surprisingly good.

Basically this scene sums Brazil up for me.

Blew the guys flip flop right off. I agree that I am not sure this is the best way to resolve this situation. I like my .308, but it doesn't come close to a .50BMG for stopping engines dead. I think the shot to the guys leg (?) was what really stopped the car, not the hood shots.

Or he is not in a bratty mood that day..... "I will sign it....I never said that...."

I agree, but I think it was a loose nod to the Matrix movie. I hope he has a backup if his internet is out and Alexa can't interface with his home automation.

SplashTop or other remote access software?? [locked out by TeamViewer]

We use Fixme.it at work. It allows the user to read you a user code and connect. So you can connect to almost anyone that simply goes to the site and clicks the link. I think it is like $300 a year though. You might be able to use it to get the initial connection to install what you need since it looks like they have a free trial. I see one called RemotePC that is cheap, but have no idea if it is good. I used to use logmein.com, but their price went from $ to $$$$$$$$ several years ago overnight, and they took away the free personal option. -
Oh, so that explains your face... Sorry it was too easy...

I am wondering if the bullet was not seated firmly snd a misfeed pushed it back. Or maybe they took the "just the tip" meme literally.

Found this in the brass bucket at the range. Obviously something is wrong. Lol How would you even pull the bullet to reuse the brass?

Have you seen the big bore air guns..... I watched a mom and a large fawn wander through the back yard the other day. We have had up to 5 in this "herd" Never seen any horns though. Same as @hipower I am surrounded by houses with just a narrow strip of woods between my back yard and the next street.Sucks living this close to people. The wife got drug around to hunting cabins and remote places growing up, so she is a firm no on living in the boondocks though. I have come to the decision that I would prefer the distance between me and the nearest neighbor measured in miles not yards.

My Dad bought about a dozen of the black and camo ones when I was a kid. He took them to work and sharpened them up in the machine shop. I cut down many a sapling with the saw back. I still have a black one somewhere plus a blade for one I found and improvised a handle for. Best knife I ever had was a kbar knockoff my Papaw found beside the road. Dad still carries it to hunt. In fact we field dressed my deer last December with it. That thing takes a dang nice edge. Blade looks almost Damascus from the staining of the rust that was on it.

I know... Those poor gang bangers would be written up like saints. "That boy never hurt nobody. He had his cell phone in his hand not a gun. That eye witness video lies" Then the greaving family would burn down the mall in all their sadness.

One day I want the story to say " Armed individuals with gang affiliation began firing at each other, but armed bystanders killed or subdued all of them in order to prevent them from harming others. Police arrived later to take the attackers into custody"

I assume that is reloading powder? I am a bit dense when it comes to reloading stuff.

I thought you were just supposed to hoard the ammo, not shoot it? Really, I get to shoot WAY less than I would like, even before COVID. Just too many obligations that have finite time frames. Used to be better when I worked somewhere I could run and shoot at lunch on the back of the property. Too bad that job sucked so much I left.

Let's say you buy that with the right stamps for AR #1, but you have 3 other ARs. You do not hold a class II manufacturing license I assume. If the ATF agent that stops by isn't getting enough at home, got a speeding ticket on the way there, or any other crab inducing factors, he might just see the tool and other ARs as intent. And it is your word against theirs. You might win the court case... 10 years and hundreds of thousands of dollars later... Just say no to ATF trap auctions. lol

I have been told my multiple people from all over the US that .300 Black Out is the hardest ammo to find right now. Good Luck.

I sold all the guns I had left to save them from the same fate as the ones I lost with the boat. I do have some nice pieces of pipe and walnut just in case I feel like doing a project. I blued the pipe so it won't rust...

Good Stuff. Those guys are out of Kentucky. Have you heard Whitechapel? They are from Knoxville. This is probably the most rotated song of their on XM radio. Warning. The video is not tame... The story in it fits the song name, but not the lyrics in my opinion.

Yeah I loved it as well. I wondered if they still did those. About the only thing Knoxville had going for it about concerts. With the entertainment tax they levied, they ran off a lot of good concerts from stopping there. Lollapalooza even did their thing in Newport to avoid that. I did get to see a lot of stuff in the 90's. AC/DC, KISS, Ozzy, Blues Traveler, and Type O Negative (opened for Ozzy and at Griffons (maybe) on the strip), Even saw No Doubt because an underage kid I knew wanted to go and his parent's wanted him to be chaperoned. He even bought my ticket. Even went to the Bombay Bicycle Club a bunch to see tribute bands. Of course now I am in the Tricities and there is nothing,,, ever, Well that I would listen to. Had to drive to NC just to take my daughter to see KISS last year. I think they killed it when they blocked White Zombie and Marilyn Manson from playing here in the 90's after scheduling it and selling tickets. Trumped up some weird statute because it was "devil music".

World's Fair Park in Knoxville? 1996 would have been about right. I can't remember the festival that it was but they were the headliner. IIRC, they played a 45 minute rendition of Tied to the Whipping Post as the encore. Going in I was only a mild fan.... leaving I realized how much those guys kick a$$. Just talented musicians that love what they do.

Funny DENSO has been in Maryville for years (looked it up, since 1988). How hard would it have been to see that they suck up a lot of the manufacturing labor force? Also, their wages should not have been a total secret. This is sorta like someone needing people with the same skill set as Eastman in the Tricities moving in. They need to come in with some kind of angle to get an edge. Mediocre pay and benefits wont cut it. $17 an hour pay sounds OK until you see the "including benefits" . Makes me wonder what the actual per hour was. Never had one of their guns, but I know they come in to the low end of cost. Gives them less to work with unless they can keep sales volume up. Anyway, was kind of hoping to see this happen. The more gun manufactures we have in the state, the more our politicians will be apt to vote in ways that keep them in business.

My only question is what is beyond those trees? Especially when you get into rifle, you have a lot farther to think about. You have to always take into account the people who might wander onto your land, intentional or not, in the line of fire as you set up to shoot. People pop up in the worst places and at the worst times. Of course something as simple as a earthen berm helps with that if you can get equipment there. If not, you could always look into building a backstop out of logs to help mitigate the risk some. I am jealous too. I have just enough land to shoot.. If I was not surrounded on all 4 sides by houses. Enjoy it.

Seeking Advice On Where to Automobiles For Sale By Owner
Ronald_55 replied to quedz's topic in General Chat
Met a lot of people who don't understand that. Looked at a cheap car once where the guy wanted to slap $1500 extra on a $3000 car because of the stereo he had installed. In fact sometimes, I would pay LESS for something with 'upgrades' because I have no idea if they were installed right or maybe in order to cover up issues.Kinda like the guys used to use diamond plate to cover all the rust on jeeps.
