  1. Lots of money to let the lazy sit home eating Cheetos or to spend on meth....
  2. Now the real question.. So what gun(s) are you using?
  3. Or make a heck of a big pile of toothpicks...
  4. If the ivy grows up the trunk cut it first around the base. That way even if you get someome else, it hopefully is a less itchy job. Since we are talking itchly things. Looks like crotch rot is what caused that limb to come down. If I was doing it myself, I would suspend the trunk end from one of the limbs above it with the other end hooked to a truck hitch before I started cutting. Basically, though, if you question whether you can do it safely, hire someone.
  5. Try paying with a $2 bill..
  6. Welcome
  7. Dang that is crazy. Maybe the deer was a Red Wings fan..
  8. Wiki says 1860..
  9. Local news not reporting anything about a shooter yet, but pics and video show officers in body armor armed with ARs positioned around.
  10. Get you a live trap and start making plans for Thanksgiving....
  11. "That's when police say the suspect pointed a semi-automatic pistol with an extended magazine at officers. " So if he had had a revolver... this would have all turned out different???? He potentially fired 3 shots in the business and 2 police officers (guessing) confronted him. Even in a small revolver he still had a round to fire at each officer. Just more sad, but overblown news. This guy clearly was targeting his employer and/or coworkers and was not just going to go down the street shooting kids and old ladies. Bad, but much different that a random active shooter killing anyone they see.
  12. So still WAAAAYYY behind everyone else, but had the first tomato getting ripe day before yesterday. Came home yesterday and .. gone... along with one of the ping pong size watermelons. No leftovers or any mess. Plant not beaten down or anything. No tracks to be seen around the raised bed. I thought I had a groundhog under the deck and set a live trap. Something got in it and tore up the ground until it broke the hinges on the exit side door. So not sure what I am dealing with. I know I see what I think is a skunk digging in the yard because it has dug out 2 or 3 yellow jacket nests. No aroma left behind though. All I need is something stealing the little bit of stuff we managed to get to grow this year.
  13. Looks like there is a 4 lb too
  14. 1lb already sold out. https://www.brownells.com/reloading/powder/pistol-powder/hodgdon-titegroup-powder-1-lb--sku749002677-34098-66432.aspx?sku=749002677&avad=211021_c231819d5&aid=35987&cm_mmc=affiliate-_-Itwine-_-Avantlink-_-Custom+Link&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=Avantlink&utm_content=NA&utm_campaign=Itwine

  16. They had a concert set for tonight in Asheville...
  17. I know growing up we raised more than we could eat with next to no upkeep. We have cucumber and watermelon close. Does it bother those? I had something bore into my ornamental pumpkins last year. One day good, next full of tiny holes. Did not seem to mess with the vines though.
  18. So we had squash coming on with the biggest at 3 inches and all of a sudden they rotted almost over night. Cucumbers are ok at this point as are tomatoes. Any idea on the squash? Last year it just sorta shriveled up.
  19. So a holiday that has a built in gift idea for that someone in your life.........
  20. Wonder if they did this stuff to revolvers when Ford was in office?
