Those guys carry some of the oddest things. Get that and the "DIY Extreme Hollow Point Maker Kit" and you could be shooting hollow point .22 pellets from your .223. lol http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/diy-extreme-hollow-point-maker-kit?a=891185

I worked for a company where we connected to customer's PCs with a 14.4 modem and a DOS program called Closeup. It would take hours just to get the tiny data backup file transfered so we could troubleshoot their issue. We would often give up and just have them mail us a floppy copy of it. Those were the days. Lol

I do IT. if it is connected to a computer, it can be hacked. I have enough issues cleaning up laptops, let alone trying to get a virus to let me turn back on my lights. It has always sounded like a neat idea to me, but the security guy in me won't let me do it. I know physical locks can be overridden, but at least someone has to show up at my place to do that.

I only own the guns no one knows I own...

So where else online do you guys buy from?

Sorry to hear. Ones like that are hard to come by and even harder to lose.

Basic instructions. You might check the temps and stuff to be sure. "Proper function can be restored by placing the metal can desiccant in an oven for two (2) hours or more at a temperature of 225°- 325°F max (105°-163°C max)..... Repeat as necessary. The metal canister will be hot when it is removed from the oven, so caution should be used to avoid burns." Got those instructions from here: http://dryandstore.com/pdf/CAN_inst_single.pdf

They are calling for maybe an inch here in NE TN according to the local station. Not sure we will even get that.

So does this mean I could go ask for 10 blanks at the local pd and send them to anyone that needs them?

Some Upcoming TGO Improvements and Changes (January 2017)

Good for you. I have yet to get a gig to reimburse me for any training. I would probably be more willing to if it was something that transcended the exact job I was in. -
Some Upcoming TGO Improvements and Changes (January 2017)

David we are going to revolt.... not really. Sounds like you spend a lot of time worrying about keeping us happy. Thanks for everything. I know this is just a side gig for you. You are better than me. I need to go back to school, but can't stand the thought of it. I barely get to sleep as is. Just remember the best part of being in school is...well.. drinking to forget you are in school. Lol -
Someone has been buying ammo at Academy. Lol

You lost me at "boutique". I don't relish paying extra just because a company decided to make less of them. I can buy a lot of other fun guns for $4800 that will see much more use. Just my 2 pennies...

And here I was just going to say WD-40. That is all my Dad ever uses. (Prepares for the flaming) I use some Rem-oil some, but have not found anything that makes me want to be loyal.

Western Arms Corporation Long Range Double Shotgun
Ronald_55 replied to Ronald_55's topic in Show and Tell
Yeah my grandfather was a stickler for keeping things in order. I had never heard the name either. I know a lot of companies used to do that stuff though. Make a "value line" under a different name. Dad said it had probably not been hunted with since before I was born. I am betting that was the last time it was shot too. He had a bunch of old ones, but I had limited time for pics. -
Western Arms Corporation Long Range Double Shotgun

I always think it odd that '68 is the same year Seat belts were required in cars. Thanks. I figured it did not have one. -
Over the holiday I got to look over some of my grandfather's guns that my Dad has. He wanted me to look this one up. It is a Western Arms Corp. Long Range Double. The last image is from the 2010 Standard Catalog of Firearms. I wondered if anyone had anymore info. I could not find a serial number on any of the surfaces without disassembling it. I told him I would bring it with me for better inspection, but he declined. Lol Thanks

One Idea a friend was looking into was the large plastic tanks like they use for gas stations under ground. I think they can be 8 ft in diameter and are made to be buried. Plus is definetly water proof. Lay in some boards for a flat floor. Look here for ideas. http://www.atlassurvivalshelters.com They have lots of pics of their round bunkers. The use go overboard on the luxury features

Maybe I should start stockpiling Playboy and Huster mags as trade items. lol -
Glad to meet you.

A while back I traded some work for a 1974 '94, but then I saw a slightly newer, rougher one with a scope mount. I got it because it was a great deal (the guy swore he fired it, but the mag spring was TOTALLY missing lol). Now I can leave my nicer one is as is. I plan to use the other one when I need a brush gun. Money aside, having multiples makes life easier. Same parts, same function, and familiarity.

When you stop using them to hunt supplies, they could be repurposed for T.P. lol
