  1. Academy Sports has some 200 round boxes for FMJ Monarch on sale for $34.99. Free shipping on orders over $25. That comes out to 17.5 cents BEFORE tax. Maybe not quite as good, but if you are close to a store you can probably just pick it up. http://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/monarch-9mm-luger-115-grain-pistol-ammunition#repChildCatid=3821051
  2. Contact @gjohnsoniv I know he works with it a little. Not sure if just for liners for leather stuff though.
  3. You are right by overkill. Did you plan based on Tier 3 data center specs? Work built one and I think it has less bells and whistles than you do, except for the 2 tractor trailer sized generators they have out back.
  4. Funny how they do not say how many guns and how much ammo. It could have been a couple of pistols and a couple of boxes of ammo. If it was next to the river, I wonder if it washed down in a flood. Biggest question is - Would any of you just whistled a tune as you headed home with some new toys and ammo?
  5. 2.ooohhh I am sure I do not want to know how much you have invested in that. If I set all that up the neighbor's dog would be running around my garage all night just to hear me scream and cuss at the flashing light. Then the kids would hijack the theater to only play their stuff and everyone would be fussing that something or other was not working the way they wanted. I get enough of that at work. lol
  6. I do not see it on my own post, and in a few with longer quotes, part of the post including the like button seems to be pushed out of sight.
  7. Testing to see if it is on your post, but not on mine
  8. I bet someone blamed the Elk.
  9. I watched a whole group of people crowd around the base of a tree at one point in Cades Cove to look at a Black Bear cub up in the tree. No one bothered to wonder how mad mom would be when she showed up and the cub was treed. I left before she showed back up. I like all my appendages minus the teeth marks.
  10. Those guys carry some of the oddest things. Get that and the "DIY Extreme Hollow Point Maker Kit" and you could be shooting hollow point .22 pellets from your .223. lol http://www.sportsmansguide.com/product/index/diy-extreme-hollow-point-maker-kit?a=891185
  11. I worked for a company where we connected to customer's PCs with a 14.4 modem and a DOS program called Closeup. It would take hours just to get the tiny data backup file transfered so we could troubleshoot their issue. We would often give up and just have them mail us a floppy copy of it. Those were the days. Lol
  12. I do IT. if it is connected to a computer, it can be hacked. I have enough issues cleaning up laptops, let alone trying to get a virus to let me turn back on my lights. It has always sounded like a neat idea to me, but the security guy in me won't let me do it. I know physical locks can be overridden, but at least someone has to show up at my place to do that.
  13. I only own the guns no one knows I own...
  14. So where else online do you guys buy from?
  15. Sorry to hear. Ones like that are hard to come by and even harder to lose.
  16. Basic instructions. You might check the temps and stuff to be sure. "Proper function can be restored by placing the metal can desiccant in an oven for two (2) hours or more at a temperature of 225°- 325°F max (105°-163°C max)..... Repeat as necessary. The metal canister will be hot when it is removed from the oven, so caution should be used to avoid burns." Got those instructions from here: http://dryandstore.com/pdf/CAN_inst_single.pdf
  17. They are calling for maybe an inch here in NE TN according to the local station. Not sure we will even get that.
  18. So does this mean I could go ask for 10 blanks at the local pd and send them to anyone that needs them?
  19. Good for you. I have yet to get a gig to reimburse me for any training. I would probably be more willing to if it was something that transcended the exact job I was in.
  20. David we are going to revolt.... not really. Sounds like you spend a lot of time worrying about keeping us happy. Thanks for everything. I know this is just a side gig for you. You are better than me. I need to go back to school, but can't stand the thought of it. I barely get to sleep as is. Just remember the best part of being in school is...well.. drinking to forget you are in school. Lol
  21. Someone has been buying ammo at Academy. Lol
  22. You lost me at "boutique". I don't relish paying extra just because a company decided to make less of them. I can buy a lot of other fun guns for $4800 that will see much more use. Just my 2 pennies...
  23. And here I was just going to say WD-40. That is all my Dad ever uses. (Prepares for the flaming) I use some Rem-oil some, but have not found anything that makes me want to be loyal.
  24. Yeah my grandfather was a stickler for keeping things in order. I had never heard the name either. I know a lot of companies used to do that stuff though. Make a "value line" under a different name. Dad said it had probably not been hunted with since before I was born. I am betting that was the last time it was shot too. He had a bunch of old ones, but I had limited time for pics.
