Most of my experience selling on CL has been getting an email or text saying "will you take (insert half the asking price or less) as the first contact.

I remember seeing a movie where a guy stuck a sticker on a guy's luggage and the backing of it had metal in the outline of a grenade. So in the xray, it looked like one. Kind of always wanted to try that out...you know just to see....not on anyone that I do not like...really..

With a few guns I have seen people trying to trade, you would be on the losing end of the deal even at that.

Man East TN is not as fun as Nashville I guess. Of course if a scruffy guy in overalls offers me sexual favors with him or his livestock for a gun...I am going to run. I thought Craigslist did not allow firearms?

Would love to hear what kind of crazy trade offers people have gotten over the years. I try to be reasonable when I offer a trade to someone, but it seems some people either think I am stupid about prices or that their beat up single shot 12ga is some rare artifact. If I can go buy it for $110, I am not going to trade you a $400 item for it.

I guess it is the trickle down affect as smaller and smaller venues and events ramp up security.

The mail lady at work cusses me I think. I have all the eBay stuff I order for me or work delivered to our physical address so that no one has to wait at the PO to get them. One day i think half her car was parts coming in for a project I was doing.

The Whoops TSA thread reminded me that I wanted to post this. Went to a Knoxville Ice Bears Hockey game a few weeks ago. We go a few times every season. I was surprised to see a security line on the outside where you had to empty your pockets and get wanded. This is new this year. I never thought about carrying in my pocket knife in the past. I made a U turn to the car and then went on in. Has there been an issue there that I don't know about since i am not in Knoxville?

Never done this on a plane, but ended up at a Federal building once with my EDC knife back in 2003. Security was nice, but seemed a little irritated. I got my knife back on the way out.

I had a cousin get distracted by a friend while taking a leak and turned his stream directly onto the electric fence. Boy did he yelp. Lol

I soooooo wish my Dad still worked as a machinist. We could have built windmills from scratch. In his younger machine shop days wayyyy long ago he refurbed a .50 cal windmill piece. Too bad is still is not part of the parts collection.

The place I was in today is $15 transfer for the first gun $5 each after that in the same purchase. $10 BG check. They are goin up next week though. I did not recognize the lower brands, but I did not look too hard since I really need to hold off buying uless it is a great deal.

I was in s shop today and most I saw were almost a $100 before tax and bgc. Maybe I missed the cheaper ones somewhere.
