  1. Well I do argue with myself a good bit, but not in this instance. I think the difference in our pics should be enough to keep it straight.
  2. Never be surprised by the extent of the stupidity possible out of some people.
  3. Stumbled across this interesting Colt for sale. Also an interesting story with a gun buy back program horror tidbit. I am not affiliated with the seller. http://www.gunbroker.com/item/692312749
  4. Sounds good. I just see some rich dude paying bus loads of 20 year olds to go buy for him. Or having his buddy hold listings up so they only sale at 11:59 the last day of the budget year. That way he can buy all he wants. Then he probably "refurbs" the items and sells them back to the government at s 2000% profit.
  5. Lets all go back to wheelguns where you can use the grip to hammer in nails if you want to. lol
  6. If they were really honest then they would have to call them "Over Priced Guns, Cheaply made Prepper Gear, and Tasty Beef Jerky Shows" You better have a heck of a store of water. lol
  7. I wasn't but now I am interested too.
  8. You are right in correcting me. Sign me up for it if you work it out. I will take all I can fit in the back of a Semi, even if I have to take out a loan to buy it. Can we get a waiver so that we can sell globally? Some of that night vision stuff would bring even higher prices in some other places. Naturally, I would not sell anywhere we had military involvement.
  9. Good idea....never will happen. That would mean that the IRS would have to give up money they want to get for the Navy/Army/Marines/ETC. to get the $x.xx. Different departments and organizations are touchy about giving their money away....even to another government agency.
  10. Nah, you just go on worshiping at his altar. I am fine believing he is a dumba$$. Arguing with me is not going to change my mind on that fact. I will leave it at that.
  11. Sounds like time to UPS some stuff home lol
  12. The image of a 5ft tall 80lb woman spraying 30 rounds from the hip at a home invader made me chuckle. Maybe I just need more sleep.
  13. If she really has to have a wheel gun, but can't stand the recoil, take a look at a Taurus model 94. It is .22LR. I have one in regular and one in UltraLite. Both mine are stubbies and I love them. Holds 9 rounds. They are not current production, but are fairly common. They also have a Model 941 that is a 8 round .22 Mag. I know people do not see the .22LR as a defense round, but sounds like her options are limited. http://www.taurususa.com/product-details.cfm?id=388&category=Revolver Though if she is comfortable with the Bersa, that might be the best bet still. Being confident and comfortable with a gun means a lot in a stress situation.
  14. Looks like Taurus makes one http://www.taurususa.com/product-details.cfm?id=856&category=Revolver Do you think she coukd manage a lightweight. 38?
  15. Irma, Glock Gen. 5... people like to talk about natural disasters.
  16. The more I read this the more I think I need to take up scuba diving. Save a few poor souls from the murky depths. If anyone questioned where the guns I don't have right now came from, I could tell them "the bottom of the lake"
  17. My Dad drove a dump truck for a few months in Oak Ridge on a government job. He actually got in trouble for doing too many loads in a day. He was told "We get paid by the hour, slow down." Telling my Dad that is like telling the grass not to grow. It seems unnatural for him. As far a the office furniture moving, my wife works for a large company that is not union, but still has to do they same crap. They can't even change a light bulb without sending in an electrician work ticket. So that is not all reserved for government. Still stupid though.
  18. I am sure. Playing is always more fun when someone else is paying. I bet these guys all still have a kick a$$ armory and motorpool at home.
  19. Wow. I wonder if these guys ever actually did anything worthwhile.
  20. I would buy that just to frame the ad. Heck it is worth $400 to me without the pitch. Wonder how long that took him to write up? So Greg do you skim Wisconsin Craiglist sites much?
  21. You sure your not my dentist? The name would fit. He buys this kind of stuff. Lol. Of course he is in Johnson City. Great looking one.
  22. A couple cases of beer and some movies? Or burn a case of ammo?
  23. Glad to meet ya!
  24. So you are the cause for the "No dancing on the tables in a hula skirt on Taco Tuesday" rule. I always wondered.
