  1. Well this came up while looking at sling mounts, but is a separate idea. Yeah, I admit it is goofy, but might be a decent hand hold while firing. Lots of my ideas are goofy. The one with a Sig brace is not an issue as I can shoulder it legally now. The one without is a little harder to hold for me. I am new to AR pistols and am just playing with ideas.
  2. See the above pic. I wanted to mount the handle to the side of the foregrip on a m-lock mounted rail piece not on the top rail. Does that clarify?
  3. @TGO David I don't have a pic of the setup, but here is a close example of what one if mine looks like. The other has a Sig brace on it. There are sights on each. I thought with a M-Lock rail piece you could add an A2 handle to the side of the foregrip. Not sure how functional or comfortable it would be. Just an idea that popped into my head.
  4. Sadly, I ran out of time and money at the moment. Hope to get back to taking advantage of some of this activity soon. Maybe when I settle into the new job and finally get the $$$ my past employer owes me. For now I watch from the sideline.....
  5. @TGO David Moved this to its own thread I already created. https://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/104866-a2-carry-handle-on-an-ar-pistol/?tab=comments#comment-1464681
  6. @TGO David Ok, thanks. I guess it was just too simple for me to figure out.
  7. I see things such as this @gjohnsoniv listed regularly to bring someone;s attention to a post. I can't seem to muddle out how it works so i can use it from time to time. Any help?Do I just use the link function? Sorry gjohnsoniv yours was he first reference I found......
  8. Posting in another thread I came up with the question: Is an A2 carry handle legal on an AR pistol? If so could you mounted at a 90゚ angle on the handguard rail and still be legal? Mounted under the rail might be questionable as it could be seen as a forward grip. Or would it? I came up with this when trying to find a good way to mount a sling to the M-lock rail on one of my 9mm AR pistols. It is easy to arrach a rail piece or mount to the M-lock, but the lack if a stock makes the other end a challenge (to me at least).
  9. Does a .22 sound like .50 through that? Lol
  10. Being pistols, there are no "stocks". I failed to clarify that mine are not carbines. Sorry was hurrying at work. I have been looking at these MLock ones. Figure I might be ok putting one at at each far end of the rail. Odd question... if you mounted a carry handle at a 90 degree on an ar pistol....is that legal?
  11. The 2 I picked up a while back are a hoot to shoot and accurate. Working to outfit one with a sling and such as my trunk gun.
  12. I picked up a 2.0 .45 from a member a while back. I love it.
  13. Dolomite, found you some inspiration. No idea what his setup is. Sorry for the Instagram link. I can't download it. https://tacticalsquad.tumblr.com/post/166337932257
  14. I hate to be without a decent amount of cash. On the other hand, I have used my credit or debit card to pay for small anounts in a drive thru. In that case it is for speed and convenience for me and cashier. I hate trying to hand over or receive $1.29 or something like that through the window. In a regular line, I pay with exact change whenever I can. It lets me get rid of the pocket change that builds up. For larger items, I still use the credit card there. I don't like pulling out $175 to pay in a store. I feel like it gives people ideas that might get me or them hurt.
  15. There always seems to be discussions of how much finger, or how many to use....but maybe that is something else... I may have to see if this helps me out honestly.
  16. Guess they are trying to salvage that model after the issues. https://www.sigsauer.com/promotions/myp320-photo-video-contest/?utm_source=Sig+Emails&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=MYP320-CONTEST&utm_content=P320+Contest
  17. Do you just put a guy in overalls soaked in Hoppes 9 and let him crawl tgrough?
  18. A flash drive or external hard drive is a good idea, but again you have to store it "off-site" yourself. it is possible a flash drive could not have enough space if you have a huge amount. Backblaze is a service that will back up one computer for $50 a year. It gives you unlimited storage online too. I think you simply install some software and tell it what to backup. One thing it will not do is let you back up a flash or external drive. That was so people could not back up several computers under one plan. Backblaze Personal Backup
  19. The writing is better on TWD. I think a lot on Fear feels contrived, it I still watch.
  20. Doug I hate to hear that for both you and Kasey.
  21. Don't forget, if you are like me....no a$$...
  22. Glad to meet ya. You might try ebay for the 10 round stuff as they will not let you sell larger, but all of us around here like our hi cap. mags. Saves time at the range. Even one of my Mosin Nagants holds more than 10 rounds. Lol Well I guess unless you want to unload them really cheap.
  23. I just think someone took all their gun ideas from bad video games...
  24. If I tried any of this, the first one would bounce back and take my head off.
  25. A new one for you guys.....
