  1. It is more that is is a collector's item now than anything. Lol
  2. I tried to get some at Cabelas the other day. They kept pointing at the Pyrodex like I could not see it. They had no idea the difference. I will try Bass Pro next time I am in Bristol. My Dad has 3/4 of a pound, but it is about 50 years old. I would rather not use it. Lol
  3. In no way was I prepared for the ending. I was rolling..
  4. Don't worry my wife is about the same height ET was...
  5. Quite a lot of firepower just for a communion (that is what it looks like in the background)
  6. House looks to be 2337... just noticed that in the pic. I looked close because I thought ET was riding shotgun... Then I realized it is a hand...lol
  7. Thanks for jumping on it like always David.
  8. If you shop by logo, there are no logos showing. That might be the cause. Not sure why that company does not show the logo at this point though.
  9. Not mine, but thought it was too cool when I saw it. Nice, but almost makes me cry that the original was so modded. The Marlin 1894 SBR. 357 Mag / 38spl Barrel cut down to 11.5" and threaded 9/16-24 , SilencerCo Osprey 9, Action Job, heavily modified Midwest Industries MLOK forend, Wild West Guns Trigger and Rear sight, XS sight rail with Vortex Viper, and of course, cerakoted.
  10. I know this is old, but if you still have I am interested. Not close, but I could pay the media mail cost to ship them.
  11. Sounds like a .50 cal Barrett is in order, you know, for the future... Congrats!
  12. I hate every gun I have ever shot.......when I run out of ammo... For those I have not, best I can do is give an opinion on its look or refer to a review I have read.
  13. Nice. I really need one of these eventually.
  14. I call photo op.... and I don't want to be trying to use my cycle as cover from anyone I need to point a Tommygun at...
  15. Closest I see on Amazon so far. Not exact, but could work and 1/2 the price Vanquest CCW-PLUS-MAG Holder $17 A cheaper alternate might be to buy something like this yard of 6 inch wide hook side 6" BLACK SEW-ON HOOK and LOOP FASTENER - HOOK SIDE ONLY - 1 YARD $6.00 And these straps GOLBERG Paracord Fastners - single, 5-Pack, 10-Pack - Black 8.5" x 3/4" - Premium Fastner (5-Pack) $6.99 And just make your own. I bet it would cost almost nothing to get someone to sew it up for you.
  16. Ok good to know. I need to get mine done this year. Just been dragging my feet since I can't carry 90% of the places I am at every day. The wife objects to me being armed most of the rest of the time.
  17. Bump for more input. Trying to get a Facebook page worked up too.
  18. Bump. So no one has anything on this?
  19. I officially hate you now.....
  20. I take this as you think I am being a circling buzzard. I am not. I have over the last couple years seen several people trying to sell off guns due to loved ones passing. It can be a very tiring experience if they are not familiar with guns. Lots of people trying to beat them down on price and such. I have bought a few and passed on a few, but never have I tried to nitpick the price. Nor have I swooped in to buy them just to resell for a profit. The decision to sell is theirs. At least if they need the money, I have helped out a bit. I meant no offense to Jeb btw. If I took this the wrong way, sorry. Been a pissy day.
  21. Lots of people swear by speed strips to reload revolvers. Might be a good option too. +1 on the trying them out at a rental range. Shoot a bunch of different ones. Though finding a .32 to rent might be an issue. I hear it is a good option to bridge the .22 to .38 gap. Is a .22 Mag out of the question?
  22. Well if she decides to sell anything you happen not to want, remember I am in your neck of the woods. Lol
  23. You are welcome. I have a pistol lower coming from them too. I got a KAK model. Like Mike said, I hear that the blemishes are hard to spot. I have found that building them is over rated unless you have very specific parts you want. Like lots of things, buying one from a place that gets discounts for million item orders ends up being cheaper.
  24. There is a Shot Show Deal at PSA with no A2 sight. 10.5 inch barrel. Not sure if priced the way you want, but has bcc and charging handle. http://palmettostatearmory.com/blem-psa-10-5-5-56-lightweight-keymod-9-freedom-upper-with-bcg-ch-516444681b.html
  25. Might seem a bit backwards, but if you only want voice, you could do FreeConferencecall.com. You get a free number (not 1-800 though) and can even have it record and email you a link to download it. I think up to 99 participants. All for free. They do have gotomeeting type stuff free too. But I have not used it. Up side woukd be that some of our less technical members could join in. Just a thought to toss out a different angle.
