  1. It's George Bush's fault!
  2. I have a CZ P-01.  Great gun.  Im anxious to see a CZ P-09 that i just read about.  Full size version of the P-07 with 19 plus rounds.  http://cz-usa.com/products/view/P-09Duty/
  3. Everything I have read indicates thet the administration is going out of its way to make things lok worse to citizens in an effort to get us to push our congressmen...I saw where there is a pulloff on the highway even that was closed by rangers so people couldnt see Mt Rushmore...sheesh, theyre closing areas that shouldnt even be affected by the shutdown...
  4. Welcome!  I lived in Michigan's UP fora short while back inthe 80's-I was stationed at K.I. Sawyer AFB near Marquette...I hated the base (it was SAC) and the chickenshit outfit I was in, but I did love the rural UP and even the weather, having come there from Greenland.
  5. yes, tomorrow...
  6. France?  Thought it was Swiss?
  7. Well...let me see....rubbing chin, it all started back in the first grade.  My dad, despite my mom's objections, gave me my first pocket knife.  It was a Case folding knife, probably small but at the time it seemed huge.  My mom said he's too young, he'll cut himself.  I said Mom, no, I’m almost all growed up.  Ill be fine.  I know how use a knife and be responsible!  SO i got it...looked at it a few times then went out to play. Ran into the neighbor kid and I said  Hey look what i got, a pocketknife!  I then took it out and opened it and wanted to show it off so I started throwing the thing up in the air and then catching it it my hand.  The other kid was really impressed until the time it came down blade first and sliced my palm open! LOL, well I couldn’t very well go back inside and let my mom see that she was right and I was wrong, so as it was fall, there were leaves all over the ground.  I used about a thousand of them to sop up the blood and finally got it to stop bleeding eventually.  Now I’m 58 years old and that IS STILL ONE OF THE BIGGEST SCARS I HAVE!  I’m pretty certain it needed stitches, but there was no way I was gonna let my mom see that, lmao.   And I have continued to make similarly stupid decisions up to the present, lol.  You’d think a person would learn belter after a while.
  8. Well...if it's on the internet, then it's true, right...?     lol
  9. Although I have read of him before, its always nice to see stuff like this again.  Thanks for sharing!
  10. I dont understand that!  Spock, the shields are activated and  the phasers are on high!  How can the link parser go down when the Klingons are in range?  Ask Scottie if he can maintain  power so we have time to escape via the transporters!  Lt Uhuru, contact Fleet Command and ascertain about rescue starships in this vicinity!
  11. Colonel West is one I'd vote for in a minute!   Wish HE could have been our country's first black POTUS.
  12. As a Conservative, I cant see voting in a Democrat, despite my utter dissatisfaction with most Republican office holders.  I want them OUT, but not a Dem in...thats why Im trying to find people to support in the Primaries.  I am NOT a republican, but since we are essentially a 2 party system at present, I figure it WILL be one or the other of those two.  Since I cant vote Dem, I registered as a republican so i can help choose which Repub candidate will run as the nominee.  Don't like it, but thats the choice!  In my eyes, a Dem very rarely votes MY way.    A bad Repub, like Lamar, for example, often votes contrary to my beliefs, but does vote more to my beliefs than the average Dem.So, I'll work to get a good repub nominated to replace the Bad repub, but when its all said and done, Ill most likely vote Repub.   Voting in more Dems is a solution that may well cement the end of our country.
  13. Nice!~  I have one just like that but without the wood grips.    Now I want a higher capacity CS 75, but not sure which one...I'm normally a .45ACP guy, but like 9mm too.  Only got one hicap 9, a Bersa Thunder, and I think I like CZ better...may have to trade up, unless I get a CZ 45 ACP
  14. It is patently obvious that this crap is happening all over due to Obamacare...and RINOs like John McCain refuse to support defunding or repealing it...Why do we continue to keep these people in office?
  15. I can't seem to find one I like...I have several Maxpedition, 511, LAPG, etc, and I outgrow them.  The Maxpdition seems the best made. The one Im using now is not maxpedition, I think it may be the Condor 140 Tactical MOLLE Sling Bag NIP.  I really like the size and compartment layout as it suits me perfectly with room to spare...what I dont like is that the quality seems to be lacking...I admit to loading it kinda heavy for EDC, but after a couple months of daily use, the seams in the shoulder strap have loosened some and will not last me...if Maxpoedition made one exactly like this I would buy it!  Max is the best quality bag I have.  I normally carry in it:  My iPad, a couple multitools, first aid stuff (very small) several full mags for my .45, 9mm and .380, my primary backup gun, and either my secondary backup gun or my primary gun if Im wearing my backup, a large, hardbound book, checkbooks, pens, extra daily meds, 2 water bottles, couple flashlights and backup power cables/plugs for my ipad and iphone...plus probably some other junk too, lol.   Ive been thinking lately  about using 2 bags...one with the stuff that I wont need everywhere, and lkeave that one in the car and carry in and out of work and places like that a muchg smaller max bag I already have...this probably makes more sense.   I rfeally like the Max sling bags and have one of those I think may be the Malaga (Not sure since Max does not label their bags).  I asked Max which is their biggest Gearslinger and they said it was the Monsoon, but I dont like the layout of that one...Does anyone know the biggest Gearslinger other than that?
  16. I bought mine at the Outpost Armory a couple years ago.  I wanted the Cobra Buckle type and finally found it there in my size.  They no longer have the ones with the Cobra Belt Buckle but last week they still had a few of the regular ones.
  17. Infowars sometimes is the first to break a real story...if I recall correctly, they were first to break the MRAP vehicles to Civilian Government agencies story...amd others...then again,. when Alex was on Piers Morgan's show about guns, he didnt help our side at all, and came across not so good...
  18. He made a little name for himself in his early years as somewhat of a fiscal conservative...kinda.  Other than than that he's ALWAYS a liberal and toes the party line.  I've exchanged MANY e-mails with him, which I'm sure has caused me to be on somebody's watch list.  He needs to go, along with Corker and Alexander.
  19. IS there something like this for iOS?
  20. One here
  21. I've always heard that there's at least one crazy person in every crowd...but whenever I'm in a crowd, I look around but never can see him...hmmm
  22. ummm, anyone remember Peterbilt?  I know lots of folks who work right down the road at the Peterbilt factory in Madison...no wait, the constant strikes caused that company to close their operation here...
