  1. Agree. I hate the company but still like the product some. Well enough to keep using it to stay in touch...
  2. Thanks, Ill check them out!~
  3. That was my point, they allow it for those, but they mess with them too.
  4. I know all the above about FB restricting gun related stuff, yet I consistently read The Goodlettsville Gun Shops ads for guns on there with videos! I knwo they jerk him around, but hes thee.
  5. Right now Im using a wethepeople.com IWB holster that was designed for the Sig P-365, but since it was designed for the 365 not the XL, Im not entirely happy with it. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm actually interested in IWB & OWB. I like to carry at 3-5 o'clock usually. Sometime SOB but not quite SOB if that makes sense. Leather and/or kydex is good.
  6. AS everyone said above, they are anti gun. But i know that a few gun stores do have sites there and do post guns for sale. I regularly see the Goodlettsvile Gun Store there, but Phillip has posted before that they are regularly hiding his page or taking his posts off, or whatever they do to make people not see them. I think he posts a copy of his FFL everyday there. Facebook is a private entity so they can do as they please, but there is talk about regulating them as an utility at times. MEWE is another competitor of Facebook, but it doesnt have the membership or traction that Facebook has. There are things I like about Facebook, like keeping up with folks at a distance, easily, when it works like its supposed to, but the censorship and constant fiddling with the algorithms to determine who sees what when is frustrating. I wish there was a no left leaning viable competitor with the same kind of following and all. Maybe Mewe will get better...
  7. My old eyes appreciate me using a Samsung 32" monitor!
  8. I always seem to just miss these deals! I buy a gun then a few months alter this happens, lol.
  9. I think Sig has an optical option for the 365XL...
  10. Love my Victory. Havent really shot it all that much and had few problems when i did.
  11. She got 10 years. Ive seen worse killing get less time. She was wrong, but 10 years for an accident?
  12. I had not realized before now that she was drinking and impaired. That does change my opinion some.
  13. They make good guns, mostly. I currently have one of their guns, the XDE in .45 and its well made. I've owned other Springfields as well. One thing I like is if you wait long enough and dont rush out when the guns first come out, they will often end up offering a really good rebate deal where you can get free extra mags, holster etc.. I will endeavor to wait this time, lol, if I can. I prefer to buy American, but that often dont work out so good either. Another things that has begun to intrigue me is the concept of red dot sights on a self defense EDC gun, and while I like the iron sights on these, Id most likely go with the red dot ready version. I imagine buying the sight will be pretty expensive too, though.
  14. Wow! Love those sights! I can see where they are going after Sig especially with the reliability assurances since the 365 early models had some serious issues...can't wait to hear more about thsi one. Im in a state of mind where I need to be downsizing my collection, but I find myself increasing instead.
  15. Got mine yesterday. Almost cant believe I got this so cheap...this will come in so handy for many different uses. thanks for the tip!
  16. Yeah! That and the articles describing some of the gun "arsenals" make me laugh when i read the number of guns that apparently make an arsenal.
  17. I had one of these, and cheap as it was, it never failed to go bang.
  18. I do remember in the military, the range folks who were there daily routinely had their lead levels tested. Those of us who only fired 4-6 times a year did not.
  19. Death penalty is too mild a punishment for these animals.
  20. My eye dr recommended a different strength for computer use vs reading...i might can find the paper he wrote it on and let you know the way it works...i cant remember which one should be stronger at the moment...
  21. Yes, I remember.Judging by what all i see in the news I think we have forgotten who did this and why..and so it will happen again...
  22. I saw on Facebook one of those funny memes about how Walmart had banned auto parts in an effort to prevent automobile accidents. Makes about as much sense.
  23. Not a folder, but I got one of these a while back and i like it just fine so far...most reviews are good on it... Gerber LMF II Infantry Knife, Coyote Brown
