  1. Which ones are not?
  2. Quick question, does the sweat guard dig into you at all? My current rig has a leather sweat guard so it doesn't bother me, despite my fatness, lol.
  3. Thanks, Ill check those out. I've been using a Galco King Tuk, leather/kydex hybrid, which i like but they don't make one to fit the Red dot. After my optic gets here I may try to do surgery on it before I order a new holster, but I want to try to lien up a few just in case. Appreciate the help.
  4. ANyone recommend a good source for IWB holsters for the Sig P-365XL with the Holosun?
  5. Just curious, do we have such a feature on here?
  6. Did you get the Moderna one?
  7. I've read that the Pfizer is the best one to get, but I got my second Moderna yesterday at the VA in Nashville. My wife got the J&J today at walmart.
  8. Oh man, I'd love this!!!
  9. Just ordered the 507K optic from Opticsplanet.com. Got it for 300.97 OTD inc tax with free shipping and a 5% discount code I found online. Now Ive got a decision to make. It will install on my Sig P-365XL Slide with no adapters, but to put it on my P-365 SAS slide, I need an aftermarket adapter. A company called Nameless Armament sells the adapter for 40 bucks, and they say that due to variances in Sig's dimensions of the SAS sight pocket, final fitting may be required. They offer to do that installation, inc fitting if necessary for free. They said just send the slide and optic to them and pay postage. I carry my sig currently with the sas ported barrel and slide, but I'm think i might just put my original XL slide back on it, then keep my eyes open for another 365 to use with my sas slide. Still not sure, but got a few days to decide til it comes in. Thanks for all the help/guidance on here.
  10. Me too! Got mine at the VA in Nashville. The process was way quicker this time. Only took about an hour waiting, with an appt. I had almost n o side effects with 1st one, hoping this one is similar.
  11. Can anyone recommend a good source for the HOLSUN 507C x29 (I think this is the right model for my Sig P-365XL)? I see it on Holosun.com for 341.16 and Amazon has it for 289.99 from multiple sellers. I obviously don't want a counterfeit one, but I also want the best price. Any suggestions?
  12. You guys have convinced me. I’m going to start looking for the holosun thst fits my 365xl. Does anyone have one on their 365SAS?
  13. Another quick question. Di the installation of a red dot on your pistol require you to buy new holsters?
  14. This is the BEST place to get gun advice!
  15. Man, you guys are killing me! My EDC is a Sig P-365XL, right now with a P-365 SAS ported barrel and slide on it. I keep deciding that a re dot optic isn't for me as any shooting I do will be up close and personal. But the more I read the more i want one. I can out one on either my original slide or the smaller SAS one Im currently using. The SAS slide requires an aftermarket adapter plate but the XL is ready to install. What optic do 365 owners recommend?
  16. If nothing else, it illustrates what Red333 said above. Things can go sideways in New York minute! I imagine this video, or more likely the original unedited version of it will be become a training video at the police academy. Prayers for the officer..
  17. Good for you! I have an appt at the VA to get my second dose of moderna next week. I hear the Pfizer is the better one if anyone has the option.
  18. First time I heard this advocated for was many years ago by G. Gordon Liddy, of Watergate fame. Listening to his radio talk show one time, he was reporting on a story about an ATF raid on an innocent taxpayers home, and he mentioned that if that happened to any of his listeners, they should target the crotch area of the "ATF Storm Troopers" as he called them, since most body armor didn't cover that area.
  19. The basic premise of the act is that LEOs and retired LEOs are subject to targeting by criminals they interacted with while performing their duties.
  20. Have any current or retired LEOs heard about this? There are several areas that just weren't properly thought out in the original LEOSA bill and some updates, which resulted in LEOS and Qualified retired LEOs not being able to legally carry in certain places under LEOSA. This bill will fix many, but not all, of those holes in the current LEOSA law. Here's a synopsis of what it will do: https://fop.net/CmsDocument/Doc/doth-2021-analysis-LEOSA-reform.pdf As a retired LEO, I really hope it passes. Don't see why it wouldn't, except for the fact that LEOs are not politically popular right now...
  21. Ive been to Canada twice, while in the USAF, once a very long time ago i flew into Goose Bay, Labrador, in Newfoundland, and then when I was stationed in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, I drove across for a day trip. The thing I remember most about the latter was the way the Canadian border officials gave me the 3rd degree about whether or not I was bringing guns into Canada. I guess they saw my military affiliation and just figured I was smuggling guns?
