A little off topic, but somehow I've started seeing tok-toks from Tulsi Gabbard, the Dem ex rep from Hawaii. She seems to be very conservative...

do you happen to know if these would fit a gen 5 Glock 45? -
I like dthat show. heck, i even liked Miami Vice, I was stationed in Miami during part of the time they filmed that show. Nash Bridges was a much lighter show. I'll watch.

I got my covid shots at the VA because that's the only place I could do so at the time, but I really dont like how Im treated at my VA here in Nashville. They left a bad impression on me when I first went there in the 90's and that low opinion has not changed. Probably mirrors my opinion of the VA in general. The bureaucracy seems to spend more time and money fighting veterans than serving them.

We've got a pit bull terrier mix of some sort that we inherited from my daughter who got her as a puppy rescue but then couldn't keep her. I think she was a few months old when she got her, and around a year when we got her. My daughter says she was abused by a man, no details on how, but she doesn't like men now. She was very attached to my daughter, and once she was here, she very quickly developed an attachment to my wife, even though I'm the one that feeds her and takes her out, lol. At first she'd have nothing to do with me but after a good while she does now. She is afraid of me, she just prefers women. Maybe she's a lesbian, I dunno, lol. I work form home during the day and my wife goes to an office, so I'm here with the dog all day. The dog mostly sleeps during the day, other than when she wants to go outside. She's funny, and very smart. When my wife comes home, its like the skies open up for this dog. Unbelievable change in behavior. After an adequate amount of loving attention from the wife, the dog becomes my friend and wants to get in my lap and will back up to me to get petted. Weird dog but smart and very loving, and also very spoiled by both of us. She will sit on the foot of my recliner if I recline it, and wait for me to pet or scratch her. If I stop she will turn her head all the way around to look at me, as if to say, I didnt tell you to stop.

I saw a funny tweet this morning that said. "The only way Kyle will be found guilty is if they mail the verdicts in at 3 A.M."

You called it! The prosecutor just showed the jury his Tiktok page that shoed him with the AR and also the name of his page reflects his youth. But hey, I was still being stupid well into my 30's and 40's, at least, if not later. Ok, later too.

I just saw a video of one witness testifying for the defense who was initially a state witness u til they tried to get him to wrongly change his police statement. To reflect something he did not know at the time he wrote it. That’s so wrong and, to me, one of the things wrong with our justice system these days. Prosecutors want a win, not justice. They form an opinion based on their politics, then try to figure a way to win, not seek out justice.

Recommendations for OWB Holster for Sig P-365XL Spectre

Does that one have a sweat guard? -
That's how most LEO involved shootings happen. One thing that really amused me in the report above, was this comment."one of the prosecuting attorneys was seen literally face-palming during his cross-examination."

Not sure about the legality of it, but sounds unsafe as the gas pressure of those rounds are different. If the gun is rated for 223 only, then there is the possibility of overpressure when shooting 556. this article explains it better than I can: http://exclusive.multibriefs.com/content/the-dangers-of-mixing-up-5.56x45mm-nato-and-.223-remington-rounds/recreation-leisure

Apparently the prosecution's star witnesses aren't quite what they expected. Just saw this: https://tennesseestar.com/?s=rittenhouse Antifa Agitator Admits He Advanced on Rittenhouse and Pointed His Gun at Him Before He was Shot November 9, 2021 Admin The antifa agitator who was shot in the arm by Kyle Rittenhouse admitted on Monday that he was shot only after he had advanced on the teen and pointed his gun at him. Gaige Grosskreutz took the stand on the fifth day of the Rittenhouse trial, hoping to strengthen the prosecution’s case against the teen. Instead, one of the prosecuting attorneys was seen literally face-palming during his cross-examination. Defense attorney Corey Chirafisi also forced Grosskreutz to admit that he’s “affiliated” with the violent Peoples Revolution, a Milwaukee-based communist militia group; that his gun permit had expired; that he had lied to the police shortly after the shooting; and that he has $10 million staked on Rittenhouse being found guilty. Grosskreutz testified earlier that after hearing the initial gunshots, he had only followed Rittenhouse because he believed he was an active shooter. He also said that even though he was armed with a handgun, he did not intend to shoot Rittenhouse.

We can, but we can't make the judicial system use them correctly.

Baldwin shoots two on movie set, accidental misfire???
Defender replied to TennesseeCamper's topic in General Chat
Has Baldwin's camp announced yet that he is a "survivor" of that tragic movie set shooting? -
I keep one similar to that in the car for emergencies. I used to have a higher quality cowboy style hat, pretty sure it was a Stetson, but lost it somewhere...Right now I wear a ball cap that a friend gave to me. It has my military veteran embroidery on it a few military pins. I DO love a fedora though and want one. Always liked them, but more so since I first saw the Indiana Jones Movies, LOL.

I've had some not so pleasant experiences on there too, but was always able, so far, to identify those up front. The ones I've met to buy/sell have gone smoothly.

The judge in the case admitted that Wisconsin law is "unclear' on that, and is reserving judgment until he can further review the statutes.

Man, I’ve said thst to my wife many times. It amazes me that more accidents aren’t caused by those super bight lights at night. I know I can barely see around them. Very dangerous.

Baldwin shoots two on movie set, accidental misfire???
Defender replied to TennesseeCamper's topic in General Chat
Gotta love Monday morning, armchair quarterbacking, lol. I do it too though. Too many unknowns here to suit me. What’s common sense to us here on a gun board might not be to the Hollywood scene. I’m curious as to the role of the armorer on a movie set. Is there an industry standard? I think charging the armorer might hinge on what her role was and did she criminally deviate from that role. Then also us the budget issues. All accounts speak of a budget film with everything rushed and many safety issues. The one thing clear to me so far is that the one who fired the shot should be charged. All else depends on this or that. -
I tried to send a PM and the system said my inbox was full and i needed to delete some messages first. I deleted a couple for now, but is there a way I missed, that allows one to mass delete or select more than one at a time?

Got my 2nd shot in Mar and my booster in August. The wife's getting hers next week. Same about masks. I've tried to wear them and just have a hard time making myself. Guess it don't help me when I know that the masks wont stop much if any of Covid from getting thru. I wear it when Im in a place that says to.
