  1. Repeating the, “I don’t need one of these” mantra is my method of resisting the urge to run out and buy one! Rarely works, but I do try, lol.
  2. Lots of talk about these on the internet along with some pretty good reviews and videos. Kinda like a mini 1911 some say. Dunno why I’m intrigued, I don’t need one of these, lol.
  3. Loved my western cap guns. Also, while it wasn't a cap gun, I had a Man from UNCLE set too. It had a badge, ID card and a semi-auto pistol of some kind.
  4. Our baby, we kind of inherited from my daughter a couple years ago. Shhh, don’t tell her she’s a dog, as she don’t know it.
  5. I have been wanting a deep fried turkey ever since I first heard of them. Maybe next year…
  6. That looks really good. I want to try making one if those. Is the meat tender?
  7. Nor have I. Guess one would need some pretty big rolling papers, huh? Seriously, sounds good!
  8. Well, he’s a survivor of the Rust movie set shooting, isn’t he?
  9. Speaking of Santa, I saw him the other night on a corner on Dickerson Road in Nashville, yelling Ho! Ho! Ho!
  10. Love Tower Deli! I need to try the other one too.
  11. At 66, I've been very lucky in my life and have never suffered from chronic pain...until this year. Earlier this year i began having severe (to me) pain on the top of my left hand and from the elbow sown my forearm as well as a different kind of pain in the very top of my arm, but not quite the shoulder. It really is two different types of pain, the top part feels wither musculature or maybe in the bone, while the lower arm/hand pain is very different and feels like its on the skin itself. My PCP doc thought it might be nerve pain and sent me to a very highly regarded neurosurgeon. He sent me for xrays, and a coup[le other scope tests and said I had a pinched nerve in my spine and he was sure that was causing the hand pain. He did surgery on 30 July, removing C1-C5 and installing titanium spacers. Here it is Dec and pain is no worse, maybe even worse. Last month, the surgeon sent me to a hand dr and that one said he didn't know. My PCP is referring me to a different hand doctor. Meanwhile back at the farm, I hurt. Im on Gabapentin, 600mg 4 times a day, naproxen twice a day and Tylenol a couple times a day. That stuff doesn't seem to help. I use tiger balm on the hand and it helps some but doesn't last. Can anyone that may have had similar pain recommend something? Im interested in CBD type products, if legal, but have no clue what to try. I ordered a non THC creme from the internet, but it was a waste of money. I know, I know, Im a wuss, lol.
  12. another plus for this footprint is Im already familiar with the Holosun and the way it works.
  13. Follow up,question: once the cut is done, is it necessary to get the cut parts coated? Seems like they would rust otherwise…
  14. I still don’t understand how the women there can be so calm, even in Texas.
  15. I want to put an optic on my Glock 45, but it’s not cut for one. Not wanting to buy a whole new slide or gun, so thinking getting the slide cut for this. I value the expertise and knowledge of folks here. Questions are: 1. What optic should I get it cut for? I have Holsuns on a couple other pistols and like them a lot. 2. Is there a reasonably priced, local person (by local i means northern middle Tennessee, or close to Nashville)who y’all recommend? Someone on another board recommended a place in Texas, and they can do it for around 125 plus shipping. Thanks. the place in Texas does full slide milling as well, which looks Kinda cool, but not sure I’d go that far, probably not. lol.
  16. Nerves act this way towards someone who has his gun out and ready to use…
  17. I've heard not to bring a knife to a gunfight, must we add not to bring fists to a gunfight?
