  1. I don’t understand why you’re asking that when the caliber is clearly written on my paper I copied from! LOL, yes I’m a dumba**! Let me try again. To trade: 1 box(20 Rds) Monarch 150 Gr Flat Soft Points 30-30 1 box(20 Rds) Winchester 170 Gr Power Points (Deer and Black bear) 30-30 1 box(20Rds) Winchester 147 Gr FMJ 7.62x51 1bag(20 loose rds) Winchester 147 Gr FMJ 7.62x51 ok, go ahead and unload on me guys, I deserve it, LOL.
  2. I've noticed this as well. Wish that app was still available. Sounds really useful.
  3. I have a small amount of leftover ammo for guns I've sold/traded that I'd like to trade for either ammo I can use or gear. Not sure what kind of gear but i have wide interests. I know this isn't much but i hate for it to sit around and figured someone might be interested. To trade: 1 box(20 Rds) Monarch 150 Gr Flat Soft Points 1 box(20 Rds) Winchester 170 Gr Power Points (Deer and Black bear) 1 box(20Rds) Winchester 147 Gr FMJ 1bag(20 loose rds) Winchester 147 Gr FMJ I could use: 30.06 ammo 20 ga self Defense shells 410 self defense shells I've got plenty of pistol, 5.56 and rimfire ammo, but failing anyone wanting to trade the above, I'd consider these also.
  4. Thanks a lot, Scotty. That is exactly what i need to know. Yes, I think i did buy some Magpul Glock mags from you! Thanks again!
  5. I’ve never been a Glock fanboy. They just never interested me. That changed a little a while back when I picked up a G-45 with a TRIJICON RMR from another TGOer. Later I got a G-43X customized by Shark Coast Tactical out of Florida. When I got the G-45, I started picking up extra 9mm mags on here and other places as I ran across them, in various capacities. This morning I read an article about glocks and it mention compatibility between generations. It caused me some alarm as I had no idea of the changes in generations of mags. Doing my research after this, I see several articles at that say that I can safely use Gen 3 or 4 mags in my g-45 and other articles that say I cannot. I saw a video from the Glockstore, where Lenny McGill says I can. Which is it? I’m fairly comfortable with my knowledge of the G-43X mag situation and have picked up some hi capacity mags from PSA, but I’m concerned about my G-45 mags. I’ve shot some of them and those worked reliably, but at the time I didn’t know there was a difference so I have no idea which ones I shot and which I didn’t. Oh, and I also have some 3rd party mags like Magpul and some others unmarked. Plus, if the older mags are not compatible with G-45, how do I determine which gen mags I have? Help?
  6. After some more online research, I decided the Vertx Transit Sling 2 was more what I need for an EDC bag. The commuter was little too big, the Essentials 2 I recently bought is just a tad too small, but I’m hoping the transit sling is, like Goldilocks said, just right, LOL. I found one at lapolicegear.com for 126.50 including shipping so that was quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else that had them. They are out of stock at several places. They only had one color in stock, the same dark red/black that my essentials is, pictured above. I might have liked a different color, but I’m ok with this one. Doubt anyone would say “look out, there’s Rambo’’, LOL. But, seriously, this one might be one to look at guys. This guy had a pretty good review of the transit vs commuter bags, so if you’re looking at one of these, check his YouTube out. Now, I need to get all my other bags inventoried and posted on here for sale, so look out for some deals.
  7. I like the looks of that one, but not the price, lol, even with 15% off.
  8. Is anyone in this thread knowledgeable about electronics and volts/amps, etc? I have 2 small solar panels hooked up to 2 of my Wyze outdoor cams. They have a usb c output wire, so I was wondering if they’d be safe to power other devices as well, like a cell phone. I do t want to try it and risk damaging one or the other.
  9. I suffer from pretty severe nerve pain all along my left arm from elbow to fingers, plus additional pain in my left shoulder from rotator cuff and arthritis. I take gabapentin, ibuprofen and Tylenol for that. I tried the cbd gummies, the legal ones, for quite a while but they didn’t help me. I have COPD so can’t smoke/vape, but I’d try the real stuff if it was completely legal. As a former drinker, I have no interest in getting high, but would love to be pain free, and if it made me a tad more mellow, I’d be ok with that. I tried weed as an intoxicant when I was young and just didn’t care for it. I liked alcohol better, actually too much better, LOL.
  10. Yes. My iPad Pro is 11 inches tall and it fits, but it’s tight. A pad or spiral is flexible so should fit easier than my iPad. I don’t carry my iPad out much and there’s plenty of room. I like mine so far.
  11. While I still love the waxed canvas looks of the nutsac bags, they just aren’t big enough, don’t have enough features plus are way too expensive, so I found a Vertx Essentials 2.0 Sling Bag that works for now. I can fit my daily carry in it as well as my 13’’ iPad pro(barely) when I need to. It’s got a grab handle in addition to the sling. It has a quick access concealed carry compartment that Velcro sticks to that I use for spare mags and flashlights. It also has in one compartment a Molle system. I’d like the bag to be just slightly bigger, but not much, LOL. Oh and as you can see, it doesn’t scream tactical. I may move up to a vertx commuter size if I can find one locally to see.
  12. Ordered one and it came today. It was mostly charged but i plugged it in to top it off.reading the directions for solar charging, it says it takes 56 hours to fully solar charge! Yikes! LOL. 10000 milliamps is the same as I gave in. Much smaller MagSafe charger for my iPhone. But for emergencies, it might be ok.
  13. cool, im gonna try it. Thank you.
  14. How long does it take to charge up the charger?
  15. I’ve got several Wyze Cameras around my house, including 2 Wyze outdoor cams that are battery operated. They required charging about every couple weeks or so, not terribly often but still an inconvenience. Anyway, I bought 2 Wyze solar panels and mounted them on the fence next to the cameras. They work perfectly for keeping the cams charged to 100%. I asked Wyze if they work with other cams or whatever and they said they’d only work with this particular outdoor cams. They have a usb output to the cams. If I were more knowledgeable about electronics, I’d try them on my iPhone, but I don’t want to risk killing my iPhone, LOL. These are actually the perfect size for a bug out bad or to keep in the car, or even around the house. https://www.wyze.com/products/wyze-solar-panel
  16. I couldn’t find the Anker peejman mentioned, but I saw this one on best buy.com and may end up trying it out. It’s pretty cheap. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/renogy-e-flex-21-portable-solar-panel-black/6523136.p?skuId=6523136
  17. I’m interested in this also.
  18. Wish I wasn’t so picky, LOL. It would be nice to be able to see all these bags in person, too. As much as I like displaying my morale patches on my current bag, I really want to get away from bags that look tactical..
  19. I sure wish Tennessee would fix our gun laws. For a state that proclaims to be constitutional and gun friendly, we are not really.
  20. I’ve got one of these in my ridgeline for those occasions where I just can’t get away with carry, even concealed. I love mine. I keep some spare loaded mags for my EDC in mine. Yes, , anything can be broken into, given enough time, but this safe would be very tough in the amount of time most thieves have. Great price too, as these are not cheap.
  21. I understand that you can’t carry in a school, including a church school. What about evenings when school is not in session at a church school?
  22. Dunno how I missed this, I’ve long wanted a Bose Wave radio but have always been unwilling to pay the price of those I’ve seen new or used. Lucky catch!
  23. I’ve had it loaded for a week or so, and carried it twice. It’s a tad small for me. I like a bag big enough for me to sneak a new gun into the house, LOL. I’m back to using an older little bigger Maxpedition bag again. If you’re interested in the veldspar, make me an offer or think of a trade. I can’t see me going back to it. My original goal was to downsize the number of bags I have, but that ain’t working out so well. Kinda like downsizing my guns.
  24. I’d have to say the original FNH FNP-45 acp USG model. This was developed, I believe to compete to replace the military’s Beretta handguns. I think the military decided to stick with 9mm instead very early on, but after FN spent considerable to develop this gun and this was left hanging. There were a couple original models, but the USG seemed the best choice for me. It can be configured to function like a 1911, chambered, cocked, locked with a safety on for single action carry, or chambered, decocked and first shot double action , subsequent single action. No parts switching required. 15+1 rounds of .45 goodness. What’s not to like? Well, the weight, LMAO. I felt like I had an extra full length appendage when I carried it plus two spare mags all day. But that thing will eat anything. Wouldn’t surprise me if it ate 9mm and 10mm as well! No, I’m kidding about that last part, but it fired reliably every round and cycled perfectly every time. FN later came out with other .45 models bug nog sure what they changed or why.
