    Keltec P-50

    There’s this: https://farrow.tech/keltec-p50-side-folding-brace-adapter/
  2. Tennessee sure has some weird gun laws. I’m a retired law enforcement officer with Federal LEOSA credentials. Tennessee makes it very difficult for me to be legal under LEOSA. Even when one asks questions, you get the run-around. They won’t recognize my LEOSA credential issued by the feds, and insist I get a Tennessee form signed by my former agency to go to the range and validate my LEOSA right to carry. Getting a Tennessee form signed in a timely manner by an agency, even a federal one, in another state, is very very difficult. On a positive note, though, I was able to get a lifetime Retired Law Enforcement HCP.

    Keltec P-15

I recently saw this and thought I’d already posted but I guess I didn’t. I’ve got a few Keltecs and I love them. I’m not in the market for yet another 9mm EDC but this is appealing, especially the metal version.
  4. What’s the capacity it’s with the extension?
  5. I’m pretty happy with my P-365XL Spectre, and probably won’t go the comp route because if the cost, but how much difference will the porting and shorter barrel make in velocity? Read somewhere online some guy was talking about releasing gases via a suppressor had a positive effect on bullet stabilization that may negate small loss of velocity due to using a suppressor. Not sure if I described this correctly, but wonder if a similar concept, if he’s right, would apply to the P-365xl Spectre comp?
  6. Although it’s not my edc, I do love my G45.
  7. One thing that I really like about this one is that it’s integral and doesn’t make the gun longer. Which means my holsters will work. Plus, to be honest, other comps I’ve seen have esthetics I don’t like.
  8. There’s a difference between a badge and LEOSA credentials, but not important. I had missed that you had reposted from another forum.
  9. I’m curious, does anyone know much about compensators? I don’t, really, but it seems to me that this built in concept might beg the way to go. Do they work as advertised? Do they significantly reduce recoil?
  10. Years ago, I went through shoot/don’t shoot training with the Diplomatic Protection Group (DPG) of the Metropolitan Police of London. The technology wasn’t what it is now, but the scenarios were real and intense. At that time, the DPG were among the very few police in England that were armed on a regular basis. As a person who was routinely armed at work at the time, I was rudely surprised in how many times I got killed or shot innocent citizens. It’s easy on TV or on Monday morning. Nit so easy at a time of stress, despite any amount of training. Training budgets don’t provide enough time to train for everything.
  11. Usually 12+1 in a semi-auto +15 round spare mag, with more ammo in the car.
  12. I have bought guns from most of the Nashville area gun shops over the years. My ‘go to’ shops are The Gun acres and Goodlettsville Gun Shop. Reese, Brandon and all the guys at the Gun Crew are awesome, and because they also sell a lot on the internet, all the stock may not be out, so ask if you’re looking for something in particular. You’ll also see them at most of the bigger gun shows across the state. Phillip at the Goodlettsville Gun shop moves a lot of stock for such a small store. His is the kind of place you need to visit regularly, or follow on Facebook, since his stock moves FAST!
  13. Are truckers not using cb anymore? What do they use?
  14. I like the looks of the WC grip. Currently I have a Hogue grip on my Spectre, and while I like it ok, it’s not the best. I understand that the WC grip is bigger than the standard, but smaller than the standard with Hogue. Wish I could find someone in the Nashville area that would let me fondle their 365xl with WC grip module so I could compare it to mine.
  15. Bar none, the absolute best concert I ever attended was his, at Starwood in the July, of 96. An amazing talent. RIP.
  16. Hi power us right about Gun Crew. Reese, Brandon and crew are all awesome!
  17. If Tennessee was your home of record, there’s a good chance the War Records Office at the TN National Guard on Sidco Drive has a copy. Branches are supposed to send one to them upon separation. In a different job, I used to help vets get copies there. Might be worth giving them a call to see how it works. There used to be a form you could fill out and I used to get copies in as little as a couple weeks.
  18. Still waiting on my stolen Colt commander to come home. It surfaced once on stolengunz.com in Nashville, but I was unable to get the Nashville metro detective to do much detecting…
  19. Ive got one of these. Awesome gun. GLWS.
  20. I read that he had recently had Covid.
