  1. My EDC is a 365XL, with a 12 round mag with pinkie extension and a Hogue grip sleeve. I also have several 15 round mags as backups. I have big hands and the grip sleeve helps me get a better grip. I like form factor and looks play into things (my XL is a Spectre) but its not ALL about looks. Like you said, to each his own. I notice on some of the Facebook 365 pages I'm on, there are many folks on there who flat out belittle folks who don't have their exact same configuration...I say, whether i get it or not, if you like it and it works for you, go for it.
  2. Sin this isn’t going to be much related to the 6.8mm currently out there…?
  3. I gave up on this idea for the car.
  4. googled this and the one on Sigs web page is 8k! Dang, I may as well buy 3 of them, lol. https://www.sigsauer.com/mcx-spear.html
  5. One of the reason I went with 5.56 was i reasoned that ammo would be prevalent. I've long been tempted by 6.8 though.
  6. I picked up a tactical nylon version last week and so far i like it. Ive had several different times and this one seems to work so far. I have a big belly and have a hard time finding gun belts that I like. Have several and so far this is good.
  7. Welcome, Jeff. I too, share your concern about people moving here and changing the politics of our state.
  8. I hate to do this but I'm going to make someone an awesome deal on one I just bought yesterday. This one is unfired (other than factory test) and comes as new with all factory supplied parts. If you're not familiar, this is the one with the built in comp that is all the rage right now. I searched everywhere for it. I don't have pictures but it looks exactly like the one in TGODavid's (but without an optic) recent thread. My wife has wrecked her car and she is facing medical bills and car repair costs, so I just cant keep this. This gun is almost impossible to find and this one is new other than I took it out of the box to look at it last night. I'll even throw in a Hogue slip on rubber grip sleeve for it at no extra cost. Local only or I can meet within a reasonable distance. PM me for questions and price. Sorry, no trades.
  9. The .45 ACP USG model is an awesome gun! I've got one and I love it. Im not in the market for another one, but seems like a good price. One could buy this set, then sell the 9mm and still be ahead! GLWS!
  10. I do, thanks, David. I’ll contact him privately.
  11. That’s very helpful, David, thanks!

    Carry History

Forgot to mention that I carried a .38 S&W Combat masterpiece and then a Beretta M-9 in my job for many years.
  13. Darn you! Why couldn’t you tell us how crappy a gun it is? Saw several other reviews online and they match yours. Now I have to get one. TBH, I already have the regular Spectre plus a plain Jane 365xl. So if I get the Spectre comp, I’ll be selling my plain Jane. I know I shouldnt, but the with Spectre comp leaving the rear sights on with an optic and the comp, I want to do it. Wondering about my holster though. I use a Tier1 Spara with my Spectre with optic, and with the comps optic sitting a little more forward, I’m hoping it will fit as I like this holster.

    Carry History

I go through guns more than I should, lol. Carried a .38 then a 1911 for years, then a full size 9mm. Then back to a big .45, the FNP-45USG. Then a newer 9mm, then a .380 for times thst deep concealment was/is necessary. Then a compact .45. Now a Sig P-365XL Spectre most days and a Ruger LCP Max when in certain meetings. I used to carry S&W .38 for years on the job til we switched to Beretta 9mm.
  15. David, did you get the tungsten weight kit with this?
  16. me too, and i hate it! lol
  17. Do you know what this fits? I’m assuming it comes with adapter plates?
