  1. Is the LCP Max also available in 9mm? I didn’t know that. Wait, I see you’re talking about the Max 9, not the LCP Max.
  2. You're wife is going to be mad at me-I have the LCP Max in ,380 and i love it. Its not my EDC but I do carry it when I have to attend meetings in business clothes.
  3. I have a Mossberg 500a pistol grip only Cruiser in 12 ga that ain’t exactly fun to shoot, lol, so when I decided to get one if the smaller shotguns I went for the Shockwave in 20 ga. I’ve read much about the trade off between 20 and 12 ga as regards perceived recoil and effectiveness at close ranges, so this affected my decision. I’ve only fired it a few times, but I don’t regret my decision. Only thing I ‘might’ have done differently is go with a semi auto variant.
  4. I’ve apparently has more money than sense the last 5 years or so and have grown my gun collection to a point that it’s difficult for me to shoot and or take care of them all, so I want to give serious thought to reducing/consolidating down to a more knowledgeable number. For a minute I was concerned about TEOTWAWKI and stocked up for that. But at 67, my health is not great. I just can’t move like I used to. I doubt I’d survive long enough to be very useful in a tough situation like that. I probably will keep at least one or two guns in every caliber I have, but still will sell some for sure. I just need to do some thinking about what I want to keep. My wife is a lot younger than me and has already told me which few she wants. My sons aren’t getting any and my daughters will get one es h probably. Anyway…just the musings of an old man, but I really need to figure this out and make it happen soon. I’ll be selling on here once I make up my mind. Anyone who has done this, please pm me your methodology on what to keep/sell.
  5. As much as his conscious allows, as long as it’s honest money and not from criminal activity.
  6. I see your point. Our state government spends a great deal of time and resources recruiting and helping fund bringing businesses to Tennessee. That will be the end of Tennessees greatness imo. If you watch Yellowstone, you may remember John Duttons speech where he said, “I’m the opposite of progress. I’m the wall it bash’s against, and I won’t be the one that breaks!’ This is what we need. Wish our governor was like that. Progress isn’t always a good thing. I think new business might bring more revenue, and we need new revenue to expand infrastructure to support new businesses and the employees they bring here, but it’s never enough to actually increase it enough, and takes a huge toll on the environment and animal life. While if we were to stop now, we’d not get back to the old Tennessee, we’d at least stop destroying it.
  7. Anyone know anything about these? Pros/cons?
  8. Reminds me of being in the USAF stationed at northern tier bases. In addition to long stints in England and Germany, I spent a couple years in upstate New York, a couple years in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, and a year well inside the Arctic Circle at Thule, Greenland. Only went outside this morning to get the ice to spread on the porch steps and the w9ind was bitter, but without all the snow! Certainly reminded me of those other cold places, but i keep reminding myself it was way worse there. Thule was the worst, with storms blowing in that were so bad that going outdoors meant death. The UP was pretty bad too. there were times I couldn't even open my house doors because of the deep snow. I kept a snow shovel outside and had to climb out a second story roof many times and jump off into the snow that was almost over my head, make my way to the garage and shovel to get my Ramcharger out. Since I'm old now, this seems just as bad, lmao. \We've had one ten minute power cut this morning in Goodlettsville.
  9. Looking for a G-45, preferably FS model, but without optic. Suppressor height sights a plus.
  10. I didn’t even realize male and female hearts were different, other than females often have cold ones!
  11. I’m a sucker for smallish flashlights! Well I still have a couple d cell mag lights in use, but they’re old and huge. For smaller, I edc carry a streamline penlight, but I have a Olight Warrior on my go bag, a Felix and a LAPG on my bedside table, and several cheap atomics scattered around the house. I know, I know, they’re cheap but they are bright! But, to be back on topic, I really recommend Olight. The Warrior I have is rechargeable and very bright. Lasts a long time too.
  12. I pocket holster carry my LCP Max on the occasions when i cant get away with carrying my P-365XL.
  13. I remember once listening to G. Gordon Liddy talk on his radio show in the 90s once about the ATF. He had a rather low opinion of them. Then there’s those Waco and Ruby Ridge things…maybe the ATF should be disbanded along with the FBI.
  14. Ha! If there’s one thing I hate, it’s a lying internet!
  15. Not sure if the distance exactly, but the guy at that mall a while back up north that dropped the bad guy shooter after was too far away for point and shoot. Not sure if he had a RDS or not, can’t remember, but the distance was quite long.
  16. I don’t have the WC grip module, but I’ve researched it and it does not require the 17 rd mags. It requires the same mags as the regular XL. Not sure if WC is making the Macro yet or not. Didn’t see it on their site, but I’ve read somewhere that they have one in development.
  17. Nice gun! I had one in a satin Nicole finish that was stolen several years back out of my house.
  18. I’ve got my lifetime EHCP, but I do want the gun buster sign law changed. That’s more important to me than true constitutional carry, though I’d like that too.
  19. I’d be willing to pay double these prices! Seriously, thank you for doing this. There was a time I would have been all over this. Hopefully that time doesn’t return for me.
