I just got a Holosun EPS Carry to replace the 507k on my non-comp Sig P-365XL Spectre. I've read many horror stories online about thread stripping and I don't want to screw this up. The box comes with the sight, an RMSC adapter plate and 3 sets of screws. The screws all come with blue threadlocker on them. The screws are all different, but seem to be the same length. The differences seem to be in the top part of the screws just before the head. I didnt want to remove the old optic until I was sure I had what I needed to install the new one. Holosun's instructions werent clear. Anyone have suggestions?

Looking at the Goonbeams online, it looks like they are programmed with the button. I despise adjustimng via the on/off button. Is there a separate button to program or cycle through? -

Got my refund thus evening on PayPal. I’ll say this, their shot may catch on fire, but their customer service on this issue was top notch. Now to find a replacement. I can’t spend 300 on a light though. -

Sounds like a plan. Kidney stones, yikes!

I don’t, and channel 5 is prob the most liberal of the three, too. Only watched the video online because it was about TFA . -
I feel ya! I was supposed to go to the Nashville one with a good buddy of mine but he died a while before so I went alone. Wasn’t near as fun as sharing the experience with a friend. My health has also gotten worse since then, but I’d love to go again if it comes close again. I’d need to figure out a way to reg though, and I remember the chair situation, lol, you’re right.

Yeah not sure if they’re all like the Nashville one, but that one was packed! I was on the floor all day snd itvwas sometimes pretty congested.

Mine got back to them quickly and they were quick to let me know that, followed up by an email that said they’d accepted my return, and would issue a refund forthwith. Haven’t actually got the money yet, snd I asked for it via PayPal. I couldn’t remember his much I’d paid for the light, but seem to remember 100, or so, so I put 105 on the form and they accepted that amount. So far, while their flashlights kinda scare me, I am impressed with their customer service for sure. Heck, I didn’t even buy it from them directly snd had no receipt. -
Today a WTVF/Phil Williams video showed up in my online news feed. Not sure when it aired on channel 5, but I’ll tell you this, I’ll never watch that channel again! I was boiling mad by the end of it. You can look it up online and watch it for yourself, but the focus was twisting the TFA, John Harris, and all 2nd amendment supporters as cold hearted, white nationalist, idiots who don’t care about children and want to make Tennessee more dangerous thinner it already is. Oh and we also want to have a revolution and violently overthrow the Tennessee duly elected government too. What an a**.

I went when it was in Nashville several years ago. I didn’t attend any dinners or speeches and spent all my time wandering the main display floor, lusting after guns and gear.I was exhausted at the end of the day, but I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Not a big NRA fan anymore, despite having a life membership, but I’d go again if it was close.

Love garlic and fried bologna, but never tried them together.

When I was younger, I loved spicy hot foods. It wasn’t hot enough unless it made me sweat, lol. I used to have to make two batches of my chili, one for me snd one for the wife and kids! Those days are gone, lol. Now the least little amount of hotness burns my mouth. Age or whatever, but I just can’t handle it anymore. Now I even have to put mild chili seasoning in my chili instead of copious amounts of chili powder.

Not to argue, but, when the exact same things happen within one’s culture, then it’s ok, but not when it’s another’s culture? I guess that’s why we will never move away from racial issues. When we get close, there’s always someone stirring the pot. Anyway, BBQ roots go back further. Depending on what you consider bbq. I’ve read it’s roots started longer ago than America existed, ancient Sumerian or Egypt, some evidence exists, some say that it existed even before modern man did, but even here in the south, it likely started in Mexico, then moved to Texas. I do believe that the best bbq is in the south, by black or white people. But when I spent time in Texas I thought theirs was pretty good too. Next comment isn’t about bbq, but about culture. When I first went into the USAF back in 190sh**, I got sent to a base in upstate New York. At the chow hall, they had weekly specials from different cultures. One week it might be Italian, another Mexican, etc. then came the week they were having ‘soul food’. Well there weren’t a lot of options for us, but I wasn’t looking forward to having that. I’d had all the other styles before, but had never even heard of this kind. When we got there it sure smelled good, and I ate up. One of my friends, seeing I liked it, asked me if I’d ever had it before. I said oh yeah but we didn’t know it by this name. He said what did you call in in the south? Food, I replied. Lol.

Man, I HATE the term 'cultural appropriation' like its a bad thing to like the 'culture' or even adopt some of it, that originates with another culture or race. I see where it can sometimes be a bad thing but probably not usually. until lately it seems. But, lol, i hate hot chicken, whether its the NaSHVILLE VARIANT OR OTHERWISE.

I used to be able to. I used to keep waterproof matches and a spark tool in my go bag. I’ve lapsed with that lately. Also, I’m a big reader of post apocalyptic fiction and am reminded of how things could be,

I, for one, simply do not believe that the three legislators were standing up for something they believe in. I believe that their whole performance, and performance is exactly what it was, was solely motivated by an attempt to make themselves look good to their party. Sadly, it worked. If they had been truly interested in making children safe, and also believed that more useless gun laws helped do that, then why didn't they introduce any bills towards that end. indeed, I've read that all 3 recently voted against bills that may have helped keep kids safer. No, these type of rabble rousers are all about their own notoriety. Gloria Johnson apologized and asked not to be expelled. When she was narrowly granted her wish, she was one of the first to cry racism. Racism? Come on, man. -

When i went to their recall web page, the options are store credit, replacement or full refund. I'm guessing since I didnt buy the light from a store that I will Like Erik88, above, last time I looked at this it was problematic so I just kept the light. I just submitted my full refund request. They sent me a mailing label to return the light so I will send it out later today. Hopefully they will send me a refund. I want my money so I can buy a replacement light that's not an olight. I thought I had a Fenix 35 but just looked and cant find it so i may look at those. What I did find was a Nitecore MH12 on my bedside table. Its a pretty good light, but I'm wondering where my Fenix is. I also found my LAPG Tactical Operator L1. Its also not a terrible light but don't like the way it programs. I much prefer one that has a separate switch for programming. Anyway, i digress. ill update later if i get my refund. -
