As crazy as this may sound...and I agree it does, You HAVE to remember that the libs DO want to and WILL try to sneak stuff thru that will at least inhibit us. It's up to us to be vocal enough to stop it, and this includes the US signing onto to international treaties that limit our soveriegnity.

I like that. I have been using a horizontal clip on cell phone holder that I picked up at a discount place for 2 bucks. It holds my spare G-30 .10 rounder perfectly and looks like the trypical faux leather cell phone on yer belt. Thought I was the only one that was so smart, lol.

Dunno if it was Kabar but at the Nashville Gun Show the other day, I saw some bayonets for pistols... -
At the Nashville Gun show on Saturday I also saw .380 for 69.95 a 100 round box. I walked away and started thinking later that I misread it or it mighta been a bigger box so I went back and the 2 boxes they has were still there. Yep, 70 bucks a box of 100. I agree that thats too high so I didnt buy. I hope no one else did. Then Dick's Sunday ad in thye Tennessean said they had a sale on .380. Went there and the guy told me that the ad runs whether they have the ammo or not! And they didnt. Sheesh.

I went back and double checked that I was doing this, and it seems to be working now...perhaps I wasnt checking this box like I thought I was. Thanks for the reminder and thanks to all the rest for your ideas!!

I put a check in the "remember me" box, and I'm running FF Version 3.0.8. I'm sure its some setting I inadvertantly changed, but I just cant figure iot out. Its not reall important, just damn annoying.

I use IE at home and Firefox at work. When viewing TGO at work i have a problem. Once I sign on, , look at some pages, etc...I often go to other tabs to work...when I go back to TGO and try to do anything other than read the forums, I have to sign in again...I'm sure this is a Firefox issue as it does not happen with IE. Ive looked at my firefozx setting and cant see a place to change this...any ideas?

I know the topic was the rails, but I am curious about the sights on those rifles. I recently got a 10/22 and want to put some sights on it and am not really familiar with all that's available. I have a red dot sight on my 9mm rifle and I like those, but was thinking of looking at different kinds for the .22. I'm not a hunter usually, and the .22 is tactically configured ( I know, I know, lol) with a collapsible stock, pistol grip, forend grip and picatinny rails for a sight. Anyone got any suggestions? I'm not looking to spend a lot of money and Id prefer something kinda durable too. Should I stick to a red dot or?

I never considered myself a right winger at all. I have always felt like I was a middle of the roader, lol. But with conservative leanings. I guess I'm further to the right than I thought! I also haven't yet put on my tin foil hat, but I have been listening to and reading some stuff from Glen Beck recently. Despite being a showman, he has some pertinent things to say. His observations about fascism seem to be right on target. If you look at American politics, both Dem and Repub, since the turn of the century, you can see many parallels between where we seem to be heading and where others have already gone...Mussolini and Hitler both were immensely popular with there people initially...seen more as saviors than anything else. Once in power, things began to change. Is that happening here? Some would say so...

I've never heard of this. I think if they know you are carrying and inform YOu that you cannot, then you do have to leave, but I don't think you have to inform anyone.

One thing we must always try to remember- they are POLITICIANS! there are some that are better than others, but the bottom line is they are what they are. I tend to vote Republican usually, solely because I kinda think that they are usually the lesser of two evils. Not good, mind you but slightly less evil, lol,.

Not sure what ya got down m'boro way but I suspect ya got several good trainers there. There are many here if you decide you wanna drive up this way. What guns are you trying to find out about?
-
This is definitely an issue for me. I have a certain level that I want to keep in reserve, and with some calibers, it's hard to maintain a sufficient reserve and shoot regularly also. A compromise is to shoot more common, affordable calibers for the time being.

I have carried a firearm either professionally or personally or both for most of my adult life. Our liberal culture teaches us that guns are wrong and I think this contributes somewhat to that feeling you get when you first start carrying. I am still not comfortable with open carry, and never have been when not in uniform, but I still carry, always. I find myself worrying about printing, and try to dress so that I don't, despite it being ok to do so.

I love my Maxpedition Colossus Versipack. TWO CCW pockets plus room for more!

I hear that Obama is formulating an apology to the pirates for the unwarranted violence perpetrated by that mean ass crew when rescuing their vessel. They didn't even give diplomacy a chance to work! Typical Americans. Acting independently and rashly!
