  1. I'm looking for a good sturdy nylon/web Instructors Belt from someone in the greater Nashville area. Only place I've found that stocks them is The Outpost Armory in Murfreesboro, but they didnt have the style/size I wanted. Anyone know of another LOCAL dealer that may have these? Thanks.
  2. I enjoyed the gun show today. Some prices up some down...but lots of stuff. I like a variety of stuff so i was overall happy with it...heard many people say they thought it was better than usual. Gotta get there early though...I guess I missed the gangbangers by going early...

    Bersa 45

    Havent shot their .45, but I have 3 Bersas-.22LR, .380 and 9mm. I love all three
  4. Ditto!!! and I thought the Bersa mag prices were high, until I bought some for my FNP-45!!!
  5. I usually enjoy Oreilly's show, but one has to take him in context. He is NOT the conservative that he sometimes comes across as. I disagree wqith him quite often, as I do on this occasion. I'm writing him now.
  6. Does anyone know if the Bersa 380 mags are interchangeable amongst the different variants? I have the .380CC (for concealed carry). I see mags online for sale with different capacities and dont wanna order the wrong kind.
  7. Just saw an update that said the pilot set his home afire just prior to taking off...
  8. Congrats! If you like it now, just wait til you shoot it! I've only put around 250 rounds thru mine but I love it. A bit heavy for EDC but I'm getting used to it. I've got the all black USG model...came with one 15 and 2 14 round mags, but I've since added 2 more 15 rounders. Accessories are expensive and not a lot of holsters to fit it yet, but that will improve as it gets more popular I imagine. I'm wanting to put some night sights on it soon.
  9. Anyone know any good survival knife SHEATH suppliers?

  11. But that price includes the built in laser, right? If so, thats not all that much higher than other .380s if you add in the cost of a laser.
  12. I'd stay in or near Dickson if I were you. Schools are better, things are cheaper than in Nashville. You could probably find a rental kinda in the country in Dickson, away from all the crime here in Nash. Or in near the westerns edge of Nashville might be ok too.
  13. I liked the Blackhawk I had...Cant find a holster I like that fits my new .45, the FNP-45 USG. Anyone know of one that will? I've heard that there are some made for other guns, some XDs aI think, that are supposed to fit it. Anyone know?
  14. They were divided for a time, but now they have ONE career field that does both LE and security functions. I think the driver behind the change to the Security Forces name was that Law Enforcement and Security are both functions of Security of an airbase. Its really semantics.
  15. Some people don't know what an SP is....so some use the more generic sounding MP as a descriptive term instead of SP or SF. The term Security Forces identifies the ground forces responsible for protecting the vital resources of the U.S. Air Force. Security Force members perform the military police function within the United States Air Force. I'd clear the house, but it's a small house.
  16. Not the same problem, but similar...I had a Serpa made for a Glock 21 that I carried my Glock 30 in. There was an inch or so of the holster that extended past the end of the gun, and since I was after concealability, I used a handsaw to cut the end of the holster off. It worked fine. I used some real fine sandpaper to smooth it off afterwards and you couldn't even tell it hgad been cut.
  17. Goodlettsville Gun Shop will give you a fair price on .380 ammo when they have it. Phillip and Jason both are very helpful.
  18. Get a cell phone case that will fit your mag.
  19. I think thats the rig (Galco Jackass) I have for my PF9. I bought the tie downs for both sides, but the problem I have is that the top of the rig where the straps all come together tends to ride up my back to my neck...I didnt get any instructions 2ith mine, so is it possible I need to adjust it somehow?
  20. Thats just not true...if your attorney said that he is wrong. the law does NOT say they can only tell dates of employment...however, if they say more then they could be sued...so most companies have a POLICY of only divulging dates of employment, to protect them from lawsuits...if they divulge more, they are not in violation of the law, but could be held financially liable for any ill effects that result of that divulgence, if it cannot be substantiated as fact or whatever. I think we have lawyers here that will confirm that...not wanting to make a mountain out of a molehill but in my work, I talk to many people who are fired for NOT signing a letter. Illegal? not at all. Immoral: I think so. Liable to get sued for it? They can but seldom do as suing usually takes money for attorney fees.
  21. Not good. Sign the letter, if it comes to that.. Make written comments if you need to on the letter, but refusal to sign can get you fired. Signing is not saying you agree, it is acknowleging they gave it to you. I see people everyday who refuse to sign such letters who are then fired.
