  1. I need to try and load me some ammo today. I got my muzzleloader sighted in good, and I want to get my ammo squared away pretty quick too. I'm hoping that I don't have to work this Saturday.
  2. I hear you bud. I got powder but, need to buy some bullets to load some deer ammo.
  3. Pretty neat cartridge and gun.

    THUMP TIME!!!

Nice rifle. Who designed your house? LOL!
  5. My next handgun purchase will probably be a revolver. .38 Spl. or .357 mag.
  6. A friend of mine had a Dan Wesson Hunter Pack years ago.
  7. I'd get another 686 with a 6" barrel or........ Like FortKnox said a Ruger!
  8. I've seen some a lot of metal parts repaired over the years. Would it be possible to silver solder this? And then grind down smooth and even. Maybe..........
  9. I started to order one of these back when I still had my C&R. Nice ones you got.
  10. I didn't top mine off when I went into work last night because, I had over 3/4 tank. I'll probably fill up tomorrow or Wednesday. Stuff like this usually don't bother me to bad.
  11. Wow. I wonder what inside diameters they are.
  12. Wow, you did awesome. Did they have quite a bit of other guns and other gun related items?
  13. I saw one at a gunshow a few years ago too. I've read a some on these rifles too. Pretty good little rifles, and since they are large ring, very strong. Not like the small ring Mausers that have been rebarreled to .308 or 7.62 caliber. Some of them area little iffy.
  14. I used to see these years ago but, thought that maybe they are discontinued. Good to see they're still available.
  15. I don't bow hunt but, I've got several friends that are getting revved up.
  16. Pretty nice. I've never seen how these operate. Thanks for posting the video.
  17. Maybe this antler restriction ruling won't effect hunters to much. If some hunters shoot a deer that they think is antlerless, some may shoot a young buck with small spikes through the skin. That's where the problem might be. I've not killed a antlerless deer in about 8 years though. I usually try and shoot decent bucks. Meat hunters may need to be careful.
  18. Very nice collection you have. You mentioned a Johnson 1941. They are very hard to come by. I've only seen one and it was one that Winfield converted a little and then sold. www.johnsonautomatics.com/winfield.htm
  19. It opens at daylight today. I can't go but, might try it tomorrow. I was talking with a friend at work yesterday and he said he was gonna give it a try this weekend.
  20. .45 Super loads have interested me for some time. There's a .45-08 cartridge too. Sorry, I've never loaded anything in that pressure range. There's some loads on www.handloads.com But, nothing with AA2400.
