  1. Yeah, I can remember that scared the heck out of everybody.
  2. I forgot about Pumpkinhead. Woah, it was good. Scott Glenn and it even had Jeff East(who played Huckleberry Finn). The original Nighmare on Elm Street was good too. Freddy Kreuger's whole personality was different.
  3. I can't really narrow it down. I love John Carpenter's original Halloween, and the original Friday the 13th.
  4. There was another guy I worked with about 10 years ago who left out of Fort Campbell in 1968. I think he was over there a few years. He was wounded too but, I don't know if it got him sent home or not. He had a bad scar on the side of his neck.
  5. I gotta have one.
  6. Yeah, Jimmy was a seriously bad president but, then again we've had a few more in the last few terms too. I don't mean the current.
  7. I remember seeing a commercial for Billy beer. It had Billy Carter smiling like a big possum in it.
  8. Bersaguy, you was over there a long time. Many Thanks for your service.
  9. I was gonna try and hunt some of the Fall season. But, have been working so much I just cant get in the mood for it. Good luck to everybody that gives it a go.
  10. Yeah. I guess in some ways he was lucky. He was wounded and thats why he was sent home.
  11. I had a supervisor back years ago, that went over there in '67 and stayed nearly 18 months. He said after he came home he was jumpy for a long time.
  12. We were kids and we were a lot better off not knowing about it.
  13. Heard some Tom Petty this morning coming to work. Gone to soon.............
  14. I was just a 7 year old, I can't remember it. Probably a good thing I can't.
  15. A lot of guys about my age drooled looking at that pic. Saw it on a lot of posters.
  16. It may not happen but, would be nice. Lots of good jobs.
  17. Theres something to be said about the good 'ol days.
  18. Its just sad. I like a lot of the newer cars and trucks but, its just the way businness is done now.
  19. Well as far as Toyota being the best, maybe but, a lot of makes get 200,000+ miles now. When I was a kid that was like seeing a unicorn. Older guys would go to a used car lot and see a car with 100,000 and avoid it like the plague. Nowadays people buy them with 200,000 or more. I worked with a guy that had a 1990 Ford Ranger that had 400,000+ on it. He drove it everyday. Original motor too.
  20. Yeah! Go VOLS!
  21. The 426 Hemi is a legend. I was surprised though to learn of the actual horse power. I've seen it posted on internet, websites and a program on Speed Channel. At 5000 rpm its at 425 hp, give or take about 1-2 hp. At 6000 its about 470 hp. I always thought it would've been at least 50 more.
  22. Yeah, Pakistan used to be the king of crap but, I have to agree China is got the crown. I bought a couple Pakistans years ago. Bought them for just tool box and glove compartment knives.
  23. Yeah, they've definately tightened up. I've got a few newly made chokes that I'm gonna try. Made a couple new slates too. I just need the time off from work............
  24. Its a piece of crap.
  25. I like the Sp101, its a little beast. Nice guns.
