  1. I've got a friend that has a H&R .223 with heavy barrel and its a good shooter. The trigger was a little stiff when he got it but, it lightened some after he shot it some.
  2. Those bullets have a very high ballistic coefficient. No wonder its claimed to have high retaining energy and velocities. Wow!
  3. Thats definitely interesting. I wonder what kind of velocity.
  4. My Garand and Carbine cost more than that...…….
  5. I like the looks and features of the SCCY. I just wonder if they will ever make something bigger than 9mm.
  6. If they do add higher capacity magazines, that will definitely be a plus. He said maybe 15+ rds. That should be good. Hi-Points are good guns for the money. People are always calling them junk. I wonder if those people have heard of Jennings, Lorcin, Davis, Cobra, Raven, etc.
  7. I don't know if there's gonna be any more cheap surplus stuff ever. Don't look like it. Russian Mosin Ngant 91-30 rifles are going for 250 bucks or more now. Who would've thought that.
  8. I've got a JHP .45, its never once jammed or anything. I've put about 500 rounds through it. Great gun for the money. People keep trying to kill them in the youtube videos...........
  9. I don't own any but, they have always intrigued me. My grandpa always carried one. I think my uncle has his watches now. He had a 14k one with his initials engraved. I don't remember the brand.
  10. Very nice rifle. Never seen any model of British sniper. I've seen pretty much everything else though. Is the complete rifle made by Holland and Holland or just the sniper stock?
  11. No, I've never tried the Magnus. I've heard good things though. I have loaded Hornady, Sierra, and Remington in jacketed and they are all good. I've mostly loaded cast in .357 Mag. H110 is a great powder for .357, and so is 2400 and IMR 4227. My favorite has always been 2400. Good luck with your loading.
  12. I'm familiar with sending things back to Eagle Pass. I sent a Mossberg Model 100 ATR back there 3 times.
  13. I found that already. I need a thread die. Preferably a round one, not a hex. Thanks Garufa.
  14. Does anybody know where to find a Rem-Choke thread die for 20 gauge. I've looked online but, no luck so far. Its .702-32 thread. Thanks.
  15. Ive heard this before. One guy told me his father in law gave him one, and it was a hassle.
  16. Pretty much everything Ruger makes is tough as nails. Good guns.
  17. Me and the guys at work got our supervisor a big bottle of Jack Daniels Gentleman Jack as a Christmas present.
  18. Here It is finally. Its not mine. It belongs to a friend.
  19. Leave it to the police to do something stupid.
  20. I didn't have cable early on but, watched it at friends houses and liked it. By the time I got cable/satellite, it had started going stupid...…...
  21. I wanted to make my own. I know Carlson's makes a good one. But, I wanted to make one out of stainless or D2.
  22. Glad you made it back. Most people I've heard about dying and being brought back, don't remember anything. One guy said it was like just going to sleep.
  23. This is something that I've thought about trying. I been wanting to make a rifled 12 gauge choke tube.
  24. I'm not on my home computer now. I've been meaning to post a pic. if I think of it, I'll try to do it this afternoon when I get home.
