  1. My uncle was always very handy with a lot of different things. He did everything to his 1911 but the black oxide.
  2. Yep. That should be great. I don't know why the .358 isn't more popular.
  3. I looked at the video and scrolled down to the comments. One comment said one side has millions of guns and veterans, the other don't know what restroom to use. That's is funny.
  4. I'd like to have one in a bolt action.
  5. My late uncle had a Springfield Armory 1911a1 that he modified some. He bought this gun second hand. It was in pitiful shape when he got it. He checkered the grip safety in a criss cross pattern, put ribs on front of trigger guard, opened the ejection port, polished feed ramp, opened magazine well, had a black oxide finish applied, added a barrel bushing, added a Wilson Group Gripper. It made a very nice gun when he got finished.
  6. I don't have one but, I hear great things about them all the time.
  7. I think as the way it sits now, that Trump will be reelected. At least I hope I'm right.
  8. The cop may've of been hoping he would try something. LMAO.
  9. I feel bad for the innocent people he thought needed to die. Well at least he's not breathing a lot of good air anymore.
  10. I'm like you I'm not really knowledgeable about French rifles either. A friend has a Mas 36, I'll let him know about the ammo.
  11. Mine was a Chinese. Made in, if I remember right 1965. Better quality than any of the Norincos that I've seen.
  12. I feel bad for all the victims. Correct me if I'm wrong but , if more than one person witnessed the shooter, his case cuts through a lot of red tape right? He does not sit on death row for 20 years. Texas law.
  13. I knew there was some .380 ammo now that is supposed to be better but, didn't know how much better.
  14. FrankD brought up a good point. I would measure with the calipers and see. You might need to go a little deeper.
  15. What I got out of that, bottom line, no BS was that Menendez and Blumenthal are both ___________ just fill in the blank with what you think.
  16. Yeah with good loads a 9 is good but, a lot of guys I know like something a little bigger.
  17. I know what it's like to be a bored machinist sometimes.
  18. That's a mean looking little girl.
  19. I wish SCCY would make something like a .40 cal. They are real big on 9mm.
  20. What the hell would you need that for? Tyranesaurus Rex is extinct.
  21. Speaking of the rust with black powder. I started with Pyrodex RS because everybody told me it was better than black and easier to clean. I switched to Goex black 2f a few years later because Pyrodex is harder to ignite. I found out that I could get my T/C New Englander cleaner hmmmm.
  22. I was just 2. I didn't even know anything about it for several more years.
  23. I've got a lot of respect for Ruger, and can't imagine them making a really cheap made gun.
  24. 50 years ago today. WOW!
  25. Wow that Big Horn Armory is bad stuff. Harold Johnson built some .50 cal. levers years ago. They were not pistol sized though. He took .348 Win. brass and necked up to .50 cal.
