  1. I would hate to shoot someone but, they seem to be like a pack of crazed dogs. If you ran toward them and yelled for them to stop, who knows if that would work? Shooting one or more before they killed that guy might be the only alternative.
  2. Yeah, its not at all unusual to see manual to manual variations. The load I use in my .308 is 48.0 gr. Win.748 with 150 gr Hornady Spirepoint. One manual I got lists it as a max load and 2 others have it right about in the middle. Go figure. I've been using it for a long time, with no problems.
  3. That was like super stupid. he needs a SS cape to wear.
  4. That does not surprise me any.
  5. Pretty cool.
  6. I was feeding my daughter that morning. She was 15 months old. I had the tv on and it changed to a news bulletin. To say I was shocked is kinda mild.
  7. Did anybody notice Edward Stack the CEO of Dick's Sporting no Goods was in there?
  8. Yeah, Big Ed's that's it. Stopped there awhile back. Highway 52 in Moss ain't bad either.
  9. Gregintenn, I forgot all about the car show at Red Boiling Springs. Me and my daughter went to Lafayette, and started meeting a bunch of classic cars.
  10. That's very nice. I've been eyeing them for awhile.
  11. I'm a gun guy and car guy. That's either a 1968 Belair or Biscayne.
  12. A friend of mine used to build and work on a lot of computers and he recommended Defender highly as a free virus protection.
  13. Been listening tonight at work. CCR, Bob Dylan, Bad Company, Marshall Tucker Band, Bob Segar, Tom Petty, Black Stone Cherry, and more.
  14. Gregintn probably knows the name of the BBQ across from the High School, just outside of Lafayette headed toward Red Boiling Springs. Its good.
  15. I'd like to went down there myself. But, I gotta go in to work in a little while.
  16. I've never shot any TSS but, turkey hunters love it though. chances R, you brought up an interesting point though. I had never thought about harder shot not working good in tighter chokes but, that's makes sense.
  17. Yeah, a lot of chokes say lead shot only. I guess if they were something like 17-4 stainless, they might work. I don't know if the steel shot rated chokes are heat treated or not.
  18. Dale hollow 1 Stop in Celina, Tn. Its worth a stop if your ever through there.
  19. I talked to a clerk at sporting goods, and he said the same thing. .22 lr ammo is used in handguns too.
  20. I saw it online this morning. I was at the Cookeville store about 1:30 before I came into work. I asked the guy at the sporting goods counter about it. He walled his eyes and said yeah, its true. They will sell what handgun and "assault ammo" that they have and won't get anymore.
  21. Very nice. I've got about 1500 pics so far on 3 different cams and not one single buck yet. I think that means they're not around yet. Maybe in a few weeks.
  22. Like Bersaguy said aint technology great. Don't get me wrong later model vehicles are nice but, if your not trained like me, your asking for headaches. Me and my brother in law put a stereo in my 2001 s10 work truck today. The old stereo which is a factory Delco am/fm CD, had a few problems. We put in the new one and couldn't get any sound through the speakers. We had power everywhere else. Radio, Bluetooth, CD, everything. But, no sound.
  23. I've not bought anything in a while. May get something in the near future.
  24. That's a huge magazine.
  25. Our coyotes can sometimes run a little heavy, like 50 lbs+. A lot of bullets will work but, I'd use 55 gr. or heavier.
