  1. I may have to post some pics of my Hi-Points. Yall should love them.
  2. I watched a documentary on Junior a few years ago and he said with the restrictions on Nascar, that they could do what they wanted to the shine running cars. It seems wild that the shine cars would be faster than Nascar.
  3. No problem, I admit it does look a little funny, The tang was a little long and I started to take some off the tang and make it a little more balanced to the blade. But, I went ahead and made the Teak handles and proceeded. Merry Christmas.
  4. Its my 3rd so far. I've done one from D2 steel that I shaped out and another that a friend gave me a blade that he ordered.
  5. I wish I could get mine to go shooting with me. She aint interested...…..
  6. I'm not really a NASCAR fan but, have a lot of respect for the older guys that starts this sport and got it going good. I remember seeing a documentary on Junior a few years ago. he said the fastest car he ever drove was a moonshine running car.
  7. Thanks, its not a work of art like yours though.
  8. The blade blank had kind of a short turned up point. I agree, the handle is a little longer than blade.
  9. This is the first Damascus I've ever done. I've seen a lot better though. I made everything but, the blade.
  10. I've got a bunch of old ammo that's on enbloc clips and have not fired any of it in my M1. I have fired it in my "1903 1903a3 hybrid" but, not in any thing else. Some of it misfires too.
  11. I'm a member on there. Its a good forum. Different screen name.
  12. That is cool as all get out. I love it. I was gonna ask the same thing. They frown upon anything like that here where I work.
  13. I'm probably gonna start out with the Lee first. They're aluminum but, lots of people have casted good bullets with them. The NOE's are Cadillacs from what I hear. I like the 90321, which is a double pour .358 handgun.
  14. Probably start out with a .357-.358 mold first. Something to load .38 Spl. and .357 Mag. with. I've got a single pour Lyman 358156 now.
  15. I've been meaning to get the rest of my stuff and start casting. I want to get a good mold first.
  16. Do you handload .30-06? Its not really a pressure thing, its more of a powder burning rate. Slow powders like 4831 or 4350 are way to slow and could bend op rod. Powders like 4895 are just fine. I think the original M2 ammo was loaded with it.
  17. Don't be sad if the parts are from different manufacturers. Most are. My '44 WRA has a lot of SA parts. The barrel when I got it was an SA and it looked like sewer pipe. I rebarreled it with a Dutch barrel that I bought for 10 bucks.
  18. If memory serves, 4895, 4064, AA2520, maybe Win 748, and theres others. I think you did good for the price.
  19. I've shot a lot of 150 gr. fmj and Hornady spire points behind 47.0 gr.- 48.0 gr. of IMR 4895 with Cci 200. Thetes not a lot of suitable powders
  20. Stands are better most of the time. Sometimes if you have a lot of undergrowth, you can't see much from the ground.
  21. Thanks for posting this. I might stop at Cookeville on the way to work.
  22. That's good news for sure.
  23. I saw that last night. Hilarious, loved it.
  24. I thought about what day it was a little while ago. God bless.
  25. I'd have told her yes those are real and they're LOADED. Your supposed to have fun with stupid people.
