  1. I'm a machinist, or at least was. 4 weeks on strike now. Cummins filtration Cookeville. Formerly Fleetguard.
  2. Here's another . Its pretty simple but, very sharp. Seems to hold an edge good. Maple handles and carbon steel blade.
  3. I like that. Heat treating for color is nice. We do that at work some.
  4. Here's the first 2, I ever did. The top is a D2 steel that I made with teak handle and bronze finger guard and butt. The bottom is a factory Case XX blade and deer antler from a busted rack buck I got in 2018 season.
  5. We've not been anywhere that we dont have to be. I've not neen out since Tuesday. The wife went for an allergy shot today.
  6. The Californistan guy has his side arm turned around too.
  7. I hope so, good luck to everybody.
  8. I was out walking around the farm a couple days ago. Heard one gobble twice about 2 pm. I stood still and kept my eyes peeled, he finally walked out. Goodlooking bird.
  9. What kind of hounds do you hunt ?
  10. Should be a goodun.
  11. Yeah, I use a Lee Auto Prime. works great, and had it for at least 30+ years.
  12. I've never even used anything like a Dillon. I've only used single stage presses. I've got 2, a Lee Original and a Challenger. Takes some time with pistol ammo. Lol.
  13. Thanks Leroy, I don't have any more to load right now. I shot some Yesterday that I had loaded with 5 gr. Herco. They shot a little better. It might help with .357 cases too.
  14. They average around .358. Don't vary much. I guess I'll shoot them out of my 6" gun. Shame too because I got about. 500+ loaded.
  15. Its warm but, I'm shooting in a .357 . I'm loading in .38 Special brass. 6.0 gr. Herco and CCI 500 primer.
  16. Capitalism beats the crap out of socialism. "Bernieism".
  17. I've not measured them yet. I will. They're supposed to be .358".
  18. Yeah it can be addictive. I probably enjoy it more than deer.
  19. Has anybody got out early and heard any gobbling?
  20. I bought 500 Remington 5 1/2 small pistol primers today at Gamaliel Shooting Supply. They won't let anybody in the store now, and you have to call and tell them what you need. They'll bring it out to you. I didn't ask about any ammo.
  21. Ok, may crimp a little more and see how they do.
  22. Oh yeah, revs me up every Spring. Our population is way down though. It makes it tough hunting.
  23. I've still not drove out through 70 yet. They may still be cleaning up some. My sister and brother in law live just off 70 and I've not been to visit them yet. Now the virus has got bad too.
  24. No, crimp is the same as other lead bullet loads. They are softer than the other 2 hard cast bullets though. Like I said the Hornady's shoot good out of a 6" gun though.
