  1. Does anybody ever see black bear? They've been spotted and videoed a few miles from my house. I've not seen one except in the Smokies. They've expanded a lot in the last 20 years or so. An old man told me about 15 years ago about some that was trapped in the Smokies and transported to Big South Fork. Thats got to be where a lot of the bears West of there are coming from.
  2. I agree Sonny but, that just kills the gun snobs don't it. I've got 2 (are ya'll sittin" down) Hi Points. And a Sccy CPX2. Love all of them. Good shooters and will feed and fire every type of ammo I've tried. I've fired aluminum cased, steel cased and different brands of brass cased ammo. Hollow points too.
  3. Is that from a Lee mold? Bullets look good by the way.
  4. Is that an Edsel? I would know for sure if I could see the crazy grill.
  5. Woah!
  6. Yep, and if they can keep in touch with somebody on Earth that will be honest with them.
  7. That museum is very authentic.
  8. I like the scout rifle idea and design but, like you said most rifles won't make weight. That makes a custom almost the only way.
  9. Wow, that's a lot of shooting. Just have fun, that's what its all about.
  10. I've never tried Varget, guess I'm old school but, have used a lot of Win. 748 in .223 and .308. IMR 4895 has worked good in both too.
  11. Yep, it hurts a lot longer.
  12. Yep a little bit .
  13. Very nice. Good looking gun.
  14. Looks like Charlie has used that bayonet too.
  15. They're neat little rifles. I always thought the 18.5" barrel was a tad short but, to each his own. Another thing is the barrels are usually really thin and they groups will open up when barrel gets warm.
  16. The lady in front is probably deaf.
  17. Sorry to hear this.
  18. I hear you. I keep saying I'm gonna buy 9mm dies. But, so far I've not got around to it. I don't cast so who makes the cheapest cast bullets.
  19. I don't know if you would call Armadillo a game species or not but, I see them ran over on roads. Never seen a live one. They're like possums, they don't do well with roads.
  20. Does anybody see the Tulammo in 9mm anymore? I used to get it at Walmart but, they went a little Commie.
  21. I thought I'd bring this thread back. I've been looking at some cheap autos online. Kel-Tec 9mm interests me. I've owned a Lorcin L380 in .380 of course. It shot ok with fmj, never tried anything else in it. People think Hi-Points are cheap made, they need to look at a Lorcin or Davis. Woah. If I buy anything cheap it will probably be a Kel-Tec.
  22. I've not killed a deer in a long time with factory ammo.
  23. I've quit buying from CTD. I don't like their price gouging .
  24. I'm gonna interfere in it . By not voting Democrat.
  25. I didn't mean to hit a nerve. I just know it worked for me and some others.
