  1. Thanks everybody.
  2. Is that your stash!? Woah!
  3. That's odd, because everything you hear about .40 says its going out of style. Some gun dealers can't sell them. I've gave up looking for normal prices on 9mm.
  4. Most don't even know which is the dangerous end. I too, hope no innocent people get hurt.
  5. I know ya'll are thinking right now I'm 80 years old. Herco is pretty much a forgotten powder. But, I have bunch of it and it burns a little slower than Unique, so I wanna use it in 9mm loads. Has anybody used it in 9mm? I've loaded over a thousand .38's and .357 Magnums with it.
  6. I'm wearing one right now............
  7. A lot of people are becoming first time buyers. Some don't even know how to load one, fire it, or where safety is or anything. When this cools down, I expect to see lots of slightly used handguns, rifles, and shotguns traded in.
  8. It sounds like you'll give it a good home.
  9. Yeah, a lathe/mill combo is pretty nice. I don't know how precise tbey would be but, cool none the less.
  10. I've got 2 single stage presses but, I don't shoot as much as I used to.
  11. Grizzly equipment is good for the price. The first lathe I ever ran was a Grizzly. It was in Vocational School and it got used and abused.
  12. Officer : "Son are you gonna hand over your gun?" Young man : "Why don't you take a piss in your hat officer".
  13. I've not checked any Hickorys around here yet but, I'm going to.
  14. Cheap ammo now is a dream. AlI I see online or anywhere is all out crazy expensive. I'm not buying plinking/target ammo for $ .40 a round. Not even .$.35 a round. I bought some Lee dies on ebay this morning. 4 die set with shell holder. Yee Hah!
  15. I read somewhere that when Dirty Harry came out, that Model 29 sales went through the roof. Most of these guns got sold off with almost a full box of ammo too. Its not a fun caliber to plink with.
  16. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. Just look around your area and see who you got. There's a lot of gun tinkerers but, you might not want one of them.......
  17. Led Zeppelin were ahead of their time. I love them but, they kind of spawned lot of bands, that are not all so great. Being influenced by a band, is not always a good thing.
  18. I hear all the time about .40 caliber is dying. I don't know why really because it was the miracle caliber that bridged the gap between the 9 and .45. But, I've heard the stories too about how gun stores don't want . 40's anymore.
  19. I wonder if the Italian made the Austrian pose for that pic? Or is he really stuck?
  20. Very nice.
  21. It figures primers would get scarce again. I've got enough for a while. But, not as many as I want.
  22. He'll definately be missed. He was a great American and patriot.
  23. I agree. Kuhnhausen's book is a great book. Dean A Grinnell's is too. My uncle had Grinnell's and did a lot of work to his old Springfield 1911a1. Good luck on your project.
  24. Sorry for your loss. Prayers sent.
  25. Well, I see what you mean there. But, I was talking about a looonnnggg eye relief scope. Mounted on the rear sight base.
