  1. He hasn't been on here in over 3 years...…. Sad.
  2. i need to try to get some kind of electronic decoy to get their eyes off me.
  3. That looks way to real.
  4. I used a mouth call years ago. i haven't tried any calling in a long time. The call was a Johnny Stewart cotton tail. I bought a Six shooter electronic awhile back. I know a cheap call but, has good volume.
  5. Just wondered if anybody had any advice on coyotes this time of year?
  6. Savage has made the 110 series for a long time and for good reason. They're simple and basic but, very well made and a lot are very accurate. I've thought about buying a replacement bolt face for .473 rim cartridges and put a .308 barrel on my .223 Model 110.
  7. My sister had one of hers done a few weeks ago. Says she's doing fine with it now. Hope yours does good too.
  8. I think I would have had to at least slug one of them.
  9. My daughter does the Noah thing sometimes. I tell her almost every time, he was the guy that built the giant animal boat.
  10. Oh yeah, they dropped him and the plane, and he ignited the rocket boosters. WOAH! I heard on the radio last night on the way home from work. Sorry to hear of his passing.
  11. Very nice. The wood is awesome.
  12. I've never heard anyone say that Japan may have regretted attacking Pearl Harbor. It has crossed my mind when I think of WWII or see a movie about it.
  13. I did something similar years ago. A spike buck had been hit by a car and was still alive. Another guy pulled over behind me and said if he had a gun with him he'd put it out of its misery and take it. I shot it and we loaded it. I didn't even think about the legalities of it. I think he said he would check everything out.
  14. Very generous. Thanks for offering this to all of us. I just wish I was closer.
  15. I've never tried it in Winter but, don't see why it wouldn't work. If you can try it on days when its sunny, might be a little better. As far as flies goes, you might try different things.
  16. "A day that will live in infamy". God bless our troops.
  17. I've got another 110E that I bought 30 years ago in .223 Rem. I used to kill a lot of groundhogs and crows with it. It's a good shooter with 55 gr. Sierra Spitzers and Win. 748.
  18. Congratulations. With all that blood, you could be in a horror movie. Lol.
  19. I've never owned one but, it is a interesting cartridge. How's the accuracy?
  20. Greg, what rifle do you have there? I used a old Savage 110 .30-06. It got it from my brother. It was just action and stock. I put a .30-06 barrel that was used on it.
  21. Ok, pic didn't load. I'll try it again.
  22. I got this one this morning about 8;00. Only one I seen. I figured they would be running everywhere. pic (1).html
  23. This has got me puzzled. I've had problems a few times with brass that was fired in another rifle, sized and reloaded. Then wouldn't chamber in another rifle than the one originally fired in. But, not like your dilemma. Hmmm.
