I've never used any of the powders you listed. I've loaded a few thousand with Herco, H110, IMR4227, and 2400. Mostly .38 Special with Herco.

Nothing wrong with the 4" barrel but, the reason I want a 6.5" barrel is so I can mount a long eye relief scope on it. I got 2 .357's already. Just don't really have a "hunter".

I've loaded a lot of H110 in .357 Magnum, and hardly ever use Magnum primers. I say use them if you want to.

I don't have a clue. I looked at three different stores a week ago for W748, IMR4350, and IMR4895 and none to be had. Not much of anything.

Well, I'm sure you know the bad news. That you can find them but, they have got expensive. It's a shame too. What model are you looking for? I'll keep a look out for what you want, and if I see anything I'll let you know.
