This is a base that goes on the rear sight base. I can put it back anytime. I didn't want to alter it in anyway. -

I've got my Grandfather's Model 37, and the ejector isn't working. Do you think I could just replace it and it would be ok? It's been shot a lot, years ago. I've only shot it maybe 10 times.

I just bought a cheap base with rings, and a cheap 2x-7x and put on my 91-30. Sighted in easy and quick. Really good accuracy too. -
Another that I'm familiar with is Winchester 1300, if you can find one.

I hear you Greg. You can't use them if you hide them . Unless it's a great hiding spot that you can get to them quick.

Sorry AuEagle, I tried watching but, couldn't I got about 5 seconds into it, and couldn't stand looking at him or hearing him. I know pretty much what he was gonna say though. I looked for a puking emoji but, couldn't find one.

There's nothing at all wrong with Rem. 870 or Mossberg 500. Or others either. I've had a Mossberg 500 for about 18 years and no problems at all. Shot a lot of turkey loads through it too.

Like the saying goes, there wouldn't be crazy prices if there wasn't crazy people. -
Oh yeah, I agree on the axle grease and cosmolene. We wouldn't have Mosins and other rifles today without it.

If I was wanting to hide a gun or guns, and you wanted to preserve in oil, seal them in a PVC pipe with oil and just bury.

Our turkey population is way down. I don't have a clue what's going on the last 4 or 5 years. I heard and saw more birds then and before than I do now. I'm lucky if I hear 2 or 3 on the morning roost.

I looked on Murfreesboro Sportsman's warehouse site, and, wait for it...………. NOTHING! All out of all primers. Maybe their not selling online. We can I guess.
