  1. I used to load a lot of .357 Magnum loads with H110, 2400, and IMR4227 with standard pistol primers but, never had a stuck bullet. Shot good but, when I bought a chrono I noticed velocities were all over the place. Magnum primers are more consistant with slower powders.
  2. It can definitely pay off if you have the components handy. Especially if you can get cast bullets cheaply and or cast them yourself, with cheap lead.
  3. I'm sorry to hear that. Hope he can get it straightened out. He needs to move to Miami. They've not needed a gun license down there for 40 years.
  4. Looks to be a No1 Mk3.
  5. My mother had a RG14 .22 revolver. You had to take out the cylinder to load or unload it. Somebody broke into her house and stole it, and other more valuable things years ago. I hope it blew their hand off.
  6. There's not been a fur market in 40 years. Shame too, because there's nothing wrong with wearing or using fur. But, there's lots of whiny snowflakes that think so.
  7. I hate this and wish you the best. Maybe you can get some good news in court.
  8. I'd say your ok, Bersa. I wouldn't worry about it. Winchester white box is the Pabst Blue Ribbon of ammo.
  9. I agree with what your saying. If people will just use their heads, everything will be fine. Some people don't though.
  10. Academy had small all types of primers on their website several days ago at Cookeville. But, it was wrong. I asked the guy at the counter about hem, when I couldn't find any. He looked at me like I was an alien, actually I get that a lot. He said they ain't had any in a long time. I said somebody needs to update website.
  11. My brother had a Universal about 20 years ago. It was a decent little carbine. I don't think he ever had any problems with it.
  12. That's a nice little gun Fujimo.
  13. I bought a Frankfort Arsenal digital scale at Gamaliel. Good little scale so far. I've started using it instead of my beam scale.
  14. The GP100 revolvers are nice but, I think there's more fans of Security Six than GP100.
  15. Prayers for you both.
  16. I've put some hotter loads through mine, and no problems at all. Ejected easy and everything. I've mostly shot .38 loads in it though.
  17. I just got that joke. Bad thing is they own Chrysler now.
  18. I've put a lot of my loads through my 6" Ruger Security Six. I got a Taurus 2" Model 605 stainless too. Kind of a handfull with full power loads though. Little gun shoots good though.
  19. Except the other way around.
  20. Boys and girls what did we learn from this? Don't go barging in to a business, and go behind counter. Somebody will knock you into next week, real quick. Lucky didn't die from lead poisoning.
  21. Bad for business ain't it?
  22. This won't be an accurate way of determining value but, Gunbroker is one way. Sometimes they seem a little high but, that's what the seller really wants. You could price yours similar to there's. At least as a start.
  23. Yeah, sometimes. Blows my mind actually. They still got guns. Shotguns and rifles but, not a whole lot of gun food.
  24. There's a Huuuugggggeeee chance it came from the Wuhan lab. It either escaped accidentally or otherwise. Bats were in there too. Somebody may've had sex with a infected bat.
