  1. They got the stuff locked up at Tractor Supply with a sign saying not to be used for the treatment of Covid 19. If you pay for it, you can use it for your horse that has China Virus.
  2. I tell people all the time, donate blood. I donate as often as I can. Usually every 56 days, with Blood Assurance from the Cookeville Hospital.
  3. I got enough stuff to do me awhile but, I hope some kind of miracle happens.
  4. Oh ok, I thought that was one rifle. Both are awesome.
  5. Sweeeeet! Very nice, did you build it? What caliber?
  6. My BIL and his brothers used to make it. Their father was a chemist and had everything they needed on hand. They used it to make rocket engines for model rockets.
  7. I used to work with a guy that had a .32 flintlock built from a kit. Pretty nice rifle, that had a maple stock, 42" barrel and all browned. He talked about getting one in .50 for a long time. I need to work on my .50 Hawken and get it going. My uncle built it from a kit back in the late 70's.
  8. I used to hunt with a T/C New Englander .50 side lock. I've got an old T/C Hawken .50 cal. but needs some work.
  9. I've not in a long time. Been hunting with an inline for awhile now. I don't have a sidelock now but, do have a H&R Huntsman .58 with open sights. Might give it a try with round balls.
  10. My brother has an old .410 that his BIL gave him and has killed some with it. I think he uses 3" #6 all the time.
  11. The ones I killed were all within 25 yards.
  12. I've got a 1903/03a3, it's a hybrid I guess. Somebody built it years, ago probably from spare parts. It's a Remington 1903 action made in 1942, with a 1903a3 stock set and barrel. It's been put together really good. Headspace is fine, stock looks new, and barrel is really nice shape inside and out. It's got a Williams reciever sight and original front sight.
  13. They used to use it for a lot of things in people but, that stopped.......
  14. And John Garand.
  15. Crickets........
  16. Oh yeah, and dog too. 'Ol Fido was used some for a small pack animal and sometimes on the menu.
  17. People hate on Rugers but, they are built stout, at least a lot of the older ones made out of that stuff called steel.
  18. People say don't eat something that's made for horses, and I say. Do you know how much some horses are worth? I don't think they would put harmful crap in anything for horses.
  19. Maybe they'll have it in pecan, lemon meringue, or apple pie flavor. Yummmmmmm!
  20. Stopped by Academy Cookeville store Yesterday. They had 3 or 4 sets of dies, 3 or 4 different calibers jacketed bullets, and a few sets of calipers. Maybe a few other things.
  21. Yeah, collector value is gone but, a lot were done when they were cheap and plentiful. I remember seeing P14's rebarreled to 7mm Magnum 20 or so years ago.
  22. What's the mag. capacity on it? 6 or 7?
  23. I'd try it.
  24. I've killed a few with a Ruger MkII. Missed a bunch too.
  25. The man in this pic looks like Allen Collins.
