  1. I'm left handed, but right eye dominant so I shoot, golf, and bow hunt right handed.
  2. Sounds like the auctioneer did a fine job. His job is to get the most $$$ out of every item at the sale. I've never seen a gun sale at an auction for less than I thought it was worth....even rusty single shot 12's bring a premium.
  3. Ok, so Karnage has proven there is some difference in dimensions. My question is how much difference does .007" make?
  4. I'd have to say Ruger 10/22
  5. I mean seriously our unemployment is 10% and this is the crap Nashville wastes our time and money on! WTF...
  6. So I subscribe to netflix for my kids. They watch it at my house, they watch it at their grandparents house. Now i'm going to get fined and jail time for that? What a BS law. That's the best Haslam can do?
  7. I have a comp tac minotaur for my g19. Its pretty comfortable even for a fat guy.
  8. Sounds like a law abiding man was just murdered in his own home to me. He was left to bleed out, b/c dead men tell no tales and carry no lawsuits.
  9. If I had to pick, OC. Because its less likely to kill me. So having been sprayed, did it render you defenseless or could you still fight back? I've often thought I could still get a few good licks in even if sprayed. A well placed taze seems to turn the person limp noodle pretty quick.
  10. I got a call after the Nashville flooding. Just explained we were 4+ hrs away. No big deal.
  11. I always pay for the hand select. Just b/c i'm scared the store will hand select the worst one if you dont. There is a turd in every punchbowl and someone is gonna get it.
  12. Check the oil, throw in some fresh non ethanol gas if you can find it. Dose of seafoam, charge the batteries and run them. If they were used in October they are fine now, unless you had some major freezing issues. Take new plugs with you for the wave runner. The nature of the beast is bad for fouling plugs. If it aint broke don't fix it.
  13. I bought one of those a few years ago at a gunshow. Had problems with it putting nicks in the blade. Maybe it was just me, but a definite no go on my experience.
  14. I've gpt a bodyguard only ran about 40-50 rounds through it. Used WWB and Remington hollow points both Wally world value packs. No failures. Handles well sights are nice and functional. It is a gun you definitely need practice with to learn the trigger. Lagerhead is right on. BG really needs a SA/DA trigger. Buttons for the laser are difficult to operate, especially one handed. Laser is completely washed out in bright sun. The magazine release button is almost too easy to activate. I chose it over the LCP due to the sights and it was cheaper vs LCP with crimson trace. Below is the pattern from my first range trip with it.
  15. Nope, but I was dumb enough to buy the cmmg conversion bolt. Loved it until it sprayed powder back into my face several times and fired one .22 round that was halfway chambered...sold it for much less than I had in it. Had a Sig 522, sold it. The smart thing would have been a dedicated upper to start with.... That rifle looks like tons of fun.

Agreed, if you use any of the Facebook extras, you will be "facing" problems!
  17. Thanks, that is a good kit. I just can't help but think you could buy the springs, cotter pins, and pins from some parts house for a few cents each. I guess after you invest time working out the specs and chasing the pieces the kit is pretty cheap.
  18. Can't wait to get it to the range. Too many honeydo's and too much rain. Its killing me just having it sit here.
  19. If its not on the barrel towards the muzzle, then it should be on the barrel underneath the hand guards.
  20. No it was that Waskily Wabbit!
  21. The Donald is more of a talker than a doer anyway. He's not the right mettle we need for a president. More of a daytime talk show kind of guy.
  22. I swear I heard that clip bounce off at least 3 different surfaces. I just hope it did not cause a rift in the space time continuum. Does anyone carry a kit for all the small pins, clips, springs etc for AR's? Not necessarily a LPK, but something like a gunsmith's screw set. Including pins, clips and springs?
  23. Wow that looks like fun! And has huge potential for broken windows... Have you tried it yet?
  24. Thanks for the offer to help. I already have some on order. That clip went flying off there at MACH 90!
  25. Ok, here's the back story. I managed to lose the Ejection port cover hinge pin snap ring on my AR. You know the little tiny clip that locks the hinge in place. So naturally I go to Midway to find one. They have them for @ $2 bucks and a little shipping. That got me thinking, I could likely buy this thing from the local hardware store for .50 or so. Has anyone ever seen or compiled a list of commonly available AR parts and sizes? You know the roll pins, springs, items you could easily pick up at Lowes or Advance for a few cents? The common non specialized type components?
