  1. On a budget, hard to beat Mossberg 500 and Red Ball waders.
  2. I have a Springfield M1A I bought used. It shoots pretty good appx 2-3 moa with surplus ammo and I've never had any problems out of it. Still, I can't say there's really anything special about it. Really don't think i'd run out and pay $1500+ for a new one unless I shot competitions with it.
  3. Nice looking set up! How are the promags for these?
  4. Wow there are a lot of us lefties that are right eye dominant and shoot right handed. I golf, shoot guns and bows all right handed even though i'm left handed.
  5. Left it plugged in and on all night last night. Reset factory calibration with the check weights. Finally got it to rezero. Based on this scale my shadow weighs anywhere between -.7 and .8 grains. Now my soul is pretty well worn so I dont doubt the negative. I am pretty fat, so maybe my shadow does weigh .8 grains. It will now weigh the same charge with in + or - appx .3 grains now, but it does not like to hold zero. There is no a/c in the room, so I cant figure out the fluctuations. Maybe it is the outlet?
  6. Anybody using one of these scales? I bought one last year from Midway, but only recently started using it. The scale seemed to work fine for the first 200 rounds or so. But now it constantly reads Tarre "error." When I can get it to zero it will weigh the same load up to 3 grains plus or minus every time. I have it on its own solid bench at least 6 ft away from florescent lighting plugged into its own outlet in a room with no ac vents. This thing is shakier than Michael J Fox on caffeine pills. I've had it longer than 90 days so I cant return it to Midway and Pact charges like $65 to overhaul it.
  7. I've had some ar's on order from rra since 4/15.
  8. He's not a real ninja, you'd never get to see a real ninja... Love the creep impersonations! Sounds like speed Gonzalez on reefer.
  9. Here's a 25 yrd group with my 452 american using bulk remington golden bullets, and a Simmons .22 mag scope.
  10. I kayak fish every chance I get. I have an old 12 ft dagger kayak. Its slow and stable so it serves my purpose. Its harder to cast/fish from a kayak than a canoe, but its easier to land fish, b/c you are so close to the water. If money weren't an issue i'd have a hobie with peddle drive.
  11. If you ran the number through TICS it would only show if the gun were reported stolen. I dont think there is a way to run it just to see if it has been sold before. On Target likely bought the gun from a distributor. I've had two problems with firearms a mossberg 930 and a remington 700 in both cases the distributor. Sports South and Davidsons took care of the problem immediately there was no need to deal with the manufacturer. I'm still shocked at Arsenal's lack of customer service.
  12. What I can't believe is how crappy Arsenal has been in this deal! You can produce a receipt proving the gun was bought new only a few months ago. They should be eager to fix something as simple as a canted sight tower. Hell even Century Arms stands behind their product.
  13. I went through Wideners site yesterday and shew components have gotten expensive. Seemed like I was only saving about $50/per 1000 reloading ss109 vs buying.
  14. The only problem I see is affording ammo, if you can find it...
  15. And they finally had the online program working fairly well...
  16. It wouldn't surprise me if Amazon just closes shop and moves out of TN.
  17. Too bad they didn't pass this 20-30 years ago. There's a lot of darn hay, straw, and sh@t I would not have had to move....lol! :yuck:
  18. Quality disappointment has to be the Mossberg 930 SPX.
  19. I don't believe there is a member of the republican party capable of defeating BHO. Hopefully I eat those words, but i'm just saying
  20. Nice Set!
  21. Yeah you can spend more and buy better. But for $600 i'd buy the thing and try it out. My bet is if you don't like it you can sell it for $800 during the election panic.
  22. What's a 10% buyers premium? They charge you an extra 10%?
  23. My Gen 4 G19 has been flawless through 200 rounds or so. I had Glock ship me a replacement spring but the original has been fine so far. Just switched out the OEM sights for some Trijicons so I need to get to the range and sight it in. My Gen 3 G17 has had a couple of failures in over 1000 rounds. I think Gen 4 is a step forward, but a very small step at that.

    Out of stock

I think a lot of it boils down to inventory reduction. Manufacturers are keeping less raw materials on hand, distributors are keeping less inventory, shops are keeping less stock. Then when you see a slight up tick in demand it equals a shortage. Because there is no surplus further back in the supply chain delivery times grow exponentially. Couple that with an already reduced work force in manufacturing and you end up with no AR's available for under $1000 wholesale and 60-90 lead times. '
