  1. Yeah, I ordered it planning on at least a 90-120 day lead time, b/c that's what it took on the 5.56 rifles we ordered.
  2. That PRO does look sweet.
  3. Looks tuff as nails. I'd have a hard time parting with the wood too.
  4. I've got a 1 yr old at home and a baby nephew on the way, so yeah I got the flu shot.
  5. Yes, ordered it direct from RRA. I think its gonna be lots of fun for plinking around. Will likely SBR it one of these days, as its a tad on the heavy side.
  6. I went with the Eotech. Its mounted on my RRA-9 AR. Will be a while before I get to range test. First impressions: -Bigger and heavier than I thought it would be. -Mounts up quickly and rock solid -Pixels can be fuzzy -Its gonna take some practice to see past the big circle dot -Seems very durable. -push buttons are not very responsive, think I may prefer a dial or switch I think it will be great for getting holes in paper at close range quickly. Outside of 75-100 yards kinda have my doubts that I can muster tight groups with this thing.
  7. Well I must have gotten over my heartburn with ole RRA. Either that or I have battered wife syndrome. Took the plunge and hooked up with AR in 9mm. Its a dedicated lower, magpul goodies and EoTech on top. They were really on the ball with this order. Placed it on 8/30 and rifle in hand 9/25. Will be a few weeks before I get to try it out, but i'm pretty stoked.

    AR-15 value???

I would not want to be into that deal from any more than $550. $250 or less for the lower and $300 for the upper. Less if its the Armalite Eagle.
  9. Looks like drum is in stock here, but its high. http://www.botachtactical.com/mdarmd1220dr.html
  10. I've placed several orders, never had any issues with quality. Maybe on the slow side but prices keep me coming back. They have a smoking deal right now on their patrol rifle. $999 includes aimpoint pro sight.
  11. Hope you get your money back and some comp for wasting a day!
  12. Yeah, i'm old and fat. So I'll just eat my last bullet before it gets to bayonet time...lol...
  13. Yeah a good belt makes a lot of difference. I carry my g17 in a comptac quite a bit. Much more comfortable if I wear the wilderness 5 stitch belt vs just some regular leather belt.
  14. Staff's used to be great, but the last few times were hit or miss. The Crab trap is good in Ft Walton. Doughnut hole is great for b fast. Can't beat the view from the back porch.
  15. Looks like a nice one. What barrel length did you go with?
  16. Here's my tale on the cmmg conversion. Shot it many times loved it tons of fun. One day at the range was plinking away. A round chambered appx 3/4 or a bit more, unknown to me. It was chambered far enough in so that the rifle still fired. Blew a split in the side of the .22 right around the rim. Just glad I was wearing safety glasses, as something struck the glasses and I got a tiny burn on the cheek. Got rid of the kit, been wanting a dedicated upper ever since.
  17. Yes the sig 522 uses the same black dog mags as most of the AR22's and the CMMG conversions. Also the 522 had a plastic receiver. Seemed really well built though.
  18. Had the Sig 522 for a while. It was a lot of fun.
  19. yeah ive read countless threads and reviews. I am leaning towards an aimpoint with a eotech recital.
  20. Anybody have real world experience with these two? Best I can tell is aimpoint has better battery life, and XPS2-2 has a more versatile recital and clearer glass.
  21. I'd like to find a good smith too. Would like to thread my 590a1 to accept accuchoke.
  22. Pocket gun: S&W Shield $450 at buds and tack on a m&p-15 sport $650 at Buds. Plus, transfer = $1130.00 I'd ebay some stuff for the extra $130.00 Trick is to find them in stock.
  23. AUD believes the only thing worse than being chased by a zombie hoard is being chased by a burning zombie hoard.
  24. They do look neat. I'd like to try one in 7.62x54r, but apparently there are no high cap mags available only the 5 rounders.
  25. yeah and don't try to shoot a 30-30 in a .410 shotty either.
