  1. Not shopped for any lately, but the 100rd value pack at wally is hard to beat.
  2. Yeah for $169, I think you would be best served to pony up $200 for a ruger 10/22 or Remington 597. If I had that in a survival situation, i'd be wishing for a real rifle.
  3. Great guns. I'd rather be in it at $150 too.
  4. Great now I want one... Don't see how that's not an SBR.  I'd want a copy of the letter for my range bag.
  5. They were good tires!
  6. Like the looks of those black bullets.
  7. I've been happy with falcon bullets here in tn. Appx $88 per 1000 delivered. Ran through 1000 115 gr and 500 147 gr. No problems.
  8. At over 400 fps that thing is faster than most crossbows.  I'd like to see one in real life, but too rich for my blood. Bet its a PITA to get a blank into a 10/22 chamber. I've tried some shorts and its a hassle...
  9. We did one for the wife a few years ago. White on an AR turns out nice.

    Snake guns

I'd try bigger shot. Number 6 or so.
  11. Gun known for light primer strikes coupled with ammo known for having hard primers.  A few light strikes just help you practice malfunction drills, I wouldn't sweat it too much. Tula is just fine for practice, bet its not your carry ammo.
  12. Prices will come back down, but never as low as prepanic prices.
  13. I powder coated a few 9mm.  Ended up pretty ugly. Spray N Bake would definitely be prettier.    My concern is I started off with a .356 bullet which after powder coat was over .360 Now I will need to size these bullets, so that's another stage on the press.    Sizing Powder Coats vs waiting on Alox to dry.  Therein lies the dilemma for 9mm plinking ammo.    Plus, its dang hot out there...
  14. If you can find a timber smith stock they are nice.
  15. Cold pizza and rolaids
  16. Wow that guy should write catalog descriptions for a living!
  17. For $8/dozen think ill stick with my night crawlers and creek minners...
  18. Buffer is most likely the issue.
  19. I'm still waiting to hear one legitimate argument as to why gays should not be allowed equality under the law. And the bible is not a legit argument, due to separation of church and state. Without u tube I couldn't field strip half my guns...
  20. I'm generally in favor of more freedom. Doma was clearly unconstitutional. Denying citizens the right to marry who they choose is no different than Jim Crow laws.
  21. I have the GL101O Hd's on my G17.  They are very fast for target acquisition, and they shoot a nice group.  The only downside is they are pretty dang tall.  I've had no issues with snags in my owb holster, but I would make a different pick for CCW.  The only other issue is due to their height I tend to shoot just a bit low, but I think its mostly lack of practice.  When you draw a gun with these sights that big orange ball is right there on target.   I have the GL01's on the G19.  They seem better suited for IWB carry as they are lower profile.     I'm betting that the gunsmith that installed the front site neglected to use loc tite, or cross threaded during installation causing the screw not to tighten completely.
  22. Numrich typically has them.
  23. Good to hear zip=hp38, that's what I have to work on next.
  24. So the pro tec I use for fishing jigs is the same as harbor freight powder coat?   Glad i've been wasting $$$ on jig head paint...
  25. Got a few of the cast bullets loaded up. Used 3.4, 3.5, 3.6 grains of Zip 3.6 functioned the best and seemed accurate enough. That's a typical 10 yrd group for my bad shooting, so I think i'm sold.
