Well, I finally had a chance to put some new clothes on my old Mossberg 500.  I've had this thing for 20 years or so. It started life with a wood stock set and a 28" barrel.    Now its got a hogue LOP stock, and a mossberg synthetic forearm.    The barrel is an 18" mossberg slugster barrel that King Armory worked over. Cut it and installed one of their breaks to get the required 18".   The original plan was to add a MI single point sling adapter, but it was not really compatible with the soft texture of the hogue stock. The adapter would allow the stock to twist as it did not catch the lug at the base of the receiver.    One of these days, I'll get around to duracoating all of it the same shade, but not really in a rush for it.    Haven't got to shoot it yet, but its short and light. Sure its gonna kick like a mule, unless that KA break has some sort of magical recoil reducing powers.

Yes, there have been recent incidents of white kids attacking homeless people, shooting up pedestrians with paint ball guns, & let's not forget James Byrd Jr.   The point being crime is crime regardless of race.    The media is going to sensationalize any crime, because it sells. Race based crime is an especially big seller.   Now, Memphis is the arm pit of Tennessee.   That has nothing to do with race. Just due to the fact that its hot, humid, and crowded.

I don't watch the show, but innocent or guilty. Just the accusation is enough to ruin him and his business. 

I ended up getting an lc9s. Still sitting in the safe waiting on a range day. Other than the long trigger reset I really like it.

Yeah, but is it really worth fighting the race crowd to get to it?

Got my lc9s today. Only complaint prior to shooting is the long, very long trigger reset.

I just don't see this ending soon, or ending well. If it's truly as bad as the tv makes it sound. At some point the national guard is going to disperse the crowd, and that just never really ends pretty.

Pretty sure I'd rather put my wiener in a blender full of rock salt than force my family to move there! But I've been known to exaggerate lol.

Id just walk down to the lake and go fishing I guess. Really don't have those problems here. I have a store downtown, but it's insured. Besides I don't think there is much of a looters market on flow meters, lol.

Melt some cheese in your ramen after draining most the water. Makes it rich and creamy. Add bacon bits for a little meat.    Best served with red kool aid. 

I've shot the shield and I've shot the lc9. I liked the shield too, but the striker fired lc9s has sparked my curiosity.
