  1. they will not leave, they all are just a bunch of hot air.  i say to them and the people that hate it here,,, leave.  not hard to understand, just leave.   i have lived in several different nations over the years, third world, second world, and first world.  i tell you there is no place like home.  we have got it good here.  i can go anywhere in american and drink the tap water and not end up in the e.r. three hours later.  my power stays on 24/7, not out four hours plus each day.   i can walk outside my house and not get shot, kidnap, or blown up.   so to the a$$ hats that don't like it here, just leave.
  2. Keep it. No good reason to sale it.
  3. i guest i am still old school when it comes to brass lube.  i still use the old school lube and a 1973 rcbs lube pad.  works well and never has let me down.  start with clean brass and i sometimes re-clean after re-sizing.
  4. he might not be the best,,,,,,,but he is a whole lot better than what the other side has to offer.  if he wins tonight the party needs to "shut the @@@@ up " and support him.  what is on the other side will destroy us and the country as we know it.  so it will time to get behind him and win.
  5. it comes in the mail with their logo on the front.
  6. I got my letter from them yesterday. Took five minutes to sign up. Free for one year. They will let you know when someone is running a credit check on you. I been given two free credit monionting companies from the federal government because of the OPM data breach. Just last week someone in Florida tried to obtain credit with my name and SSN number. As soon as it was run I was notified by both companies. I call back and stopped it all. Not bad for free. So they as a company they are doing it right for there customers.
  7. set it close to what is marked on the vehicle door sticker.  that psi setting will give you the best ride and tire wear.  the max psi on the tire is how much the tire can hold before blowing when in use while loaded. too much air you will wear out the center of the tire.  to little you wear out the ends/sides.  one time i pump about 10 pounds max pass the 65 pounds psi side wall number on a 20 foot trailer.  this trailer set in the pole barn and the sun got on the same/one tire each day.  two days later the tire blew out because the sun ran the psi up and the tire could not hold it.  these were new 8 ply trailer tires. the side wall blew out.  i must have jump 10 feet high when it blew.   the best time to check tire pressure is in the morning before the sun heats them up.  check on a cold tire.  also all are gauges are not the same.  i got several from high dollar for the big trucks/tractors to cheap 0.99 cent ones.  they all give a different reading.  so get close to what is call for from the owner manual and don't over think it.  also the cheaper the tire the cheaper the ride.  in tires you get what you pay for.
  8. All progressive press can give you trouble at sometimes. I been using a Dillon 550 since 82. Yes it has given me problems. Yes Dillon has fix it with free parts fast. I also pickup a used 550b several years ago and Dillon redone it for free. I don't use the 550's for rifle. I use a single stage for rifle. When it comes to reloading equipment don't go cheap. Save up a get the gold standard, Dillon.
  9. I lived in west Texas in the 70/80. Hard place to live when things go bad. No water and there will be many Mexicans looking for things to get on our side of the boarder. Nothing but hot in summer, cold in winter and lots of sand.
  10. we are in need for more men like this.  take a look around your local college and you will cry.  there are no more men to be found.  we have made a generation of babies where words written in chalk on a side walk puts them into crying laying down fear.
  11.   yes and no.  the cz 452 will work great.  many use the cz in both matches.  i use a cz 455 in the hunter rifle match. sometimes i use the cz in both matches.  but the open sights will not.  you can not see the targets.  you need a scope to do any good at this game. a 9 or higher power scope will work.   the ram target  is the size of your hand and it is placed at 100 meters.     There are four basic kinds of silhouettes: Chicken, Pig, Turkey and Ram.  Smallbore Rifle/ Hunter Rifle uses one-fifth size targets , the smallest of the targets.   Chickens are at 40,  pigs are at 60, turkey at 77, and rams at 100 meters for Smallbore Rifle/Hunter rifle Silhouette.  a chicken target will fit inside a jar lid, the pig target is just a little smaller than a ram, the turkey is somewhere in between.  it not the size of the targets, it is the shape that causes the problems.  when you are use to shooting at normal targets punching paper then move over to animal shape targets your gun needs to be sighted in at all four distances.     so bottom line in my long post.  your cz 452 will make a great silhouette rifle than can be used in standard rifle and hunter rifle matches.  but you will need a good scope, 9 power or higher.  you will need to change the elevation for each animal during the match. i use a 35 years old el paso weaver t-16.

    High Standard

sorry about your friend.  you got the gold standard when it come to 22 auto pistols.
  13. We are going down fast as a nation. What got us here is not good anymore.
  14. in the standard rifle match any 22 lr with a scope will work.  a max weight of 10 pounds two ounces with scope and a safe trigger.   in the hunter rifle match a hunting style 22 lr rifle with scope will work.  a two pound or higher trigger pull is required.  a max weight of 8 1/2 pounds with scope and ammo.  also the rifle must have a hunting style/type rifle stock and taper barrel.  no bull barrels or thumb hole stocks.  most people have a 22 lr rifle that will work in both matches.  most people use their hunter rifle setup in the standard rifle match.  we have autos (ruger 10/22/marlin) and bolt action (anschutz/cz/ruger/remingtion/etc) rifles at the matches.   see - http://rulebooks.nra.org/documents/pdf/compete/RuleBooks/Sil-r/sil-r-book.pdf for the full rule book from the nra.
