sportman's warehouse in chattanooga had some today also. looks like cci is mini mags are coming back.

let us know what you did to fit the bullets/pc. last year a found a coffee can that was full of some cast lead 44 mag cast lead gas check bullets that i did in 86. the lube was all over the bullets and not in the lube grove. a big mess. i put them in the oven at a low temp. most of the lube came off to the bottom of the pan. i re-lubed them and they shot fine.

they will either re-build or replace the machine. i sent one back to them several years ago for a rebuild. came back like new. they stand behind all things they sale, no questions asked. hard to beat a company that will do than.

If you could only have one gun, what would it be?
frankmako replied to Pete123's topic in General Chat
marlin 336 in 30-30 for me. -
i buy whatever's the cheapest for all my shooting needs, range blasting and competition. many mango seasons ago i would try to stay with the same brand, but found out by changing brands it did nothing to change the out come. it all went bang and the bullet it the target. so buy the cheapest and shoot on.

My everyday truck is a Chevy. But I got two fords on the farm. A 03 f150 and a 95 f450 flatbed. The f450 is a real truck. The abs went out on the 150 and it took five weeks to get the part from the dealer. I would sale the 150, but it only got 46k miles and it seves a propose when I need it. Last year I sold a f250 & f350. Just got tired of working on them. Ford 6.0 diesel is junk. They should stayed with the 7.3. So no matter the brand they all got problems.

Benchmade mini-reflex that I got in 97. Been back once for new spring and sharping. -
I have own many glocks and have been issued glocks on the job. Never did a break in per say on any of them. That is what i like about them. No break in required. Take out of box, shoot some, clean and carry on. I have even clean a new issued one before shooting and it did not hurt anything. So clean it and carry on.

Where do you buy your cast boolits?
frankmako replied to Westwindmike's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
check out the plated bullets (copper plated) at x-treme bullets. they are the same price and/or lower over their cast lead bullets. once i started with plated bullets i don't order any more cast lead bullets for pistol. the only cast lead i do now is the ones i make out of wheel weights for rifle use. i use plated for all pistol rounds. they use to give free shipping for first order. sign up for news letter and get free shipping and 5% to 10% off all the time. they send a email out every day with some special deal. hard to beat and ship fast. -

Nice work. I need to build one too. What type of brackets did you use and where did you get them. Tired of using the drill. -
beltman is the way to go. but,,,if you can find one the 5.11 dress gun belt are good. the have a plastic incert that makes the belt work. not as thick as the beltman, but close. the plastic incert that is between the two pieces of leather that makes it work. you can not bend them. comes in black and brown.

Chinese SKS, tactified, need opinions
frankmako replied to A.J. Holst's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
a sks that has not had a bunch of mods done to it is a great rifle to have around. they are one great rifle for what they were made for. simple to use and maintain. the sks that you are looking a is priced a little high for what it is. the owner has made at least two major changes to it, i.e.,, stock and mag. these changes do not add value to he rifle. it takes value away from it. just take his own words about having to hold the mag a certain way so it will fire. i would offer way less knowing that you will ave to buy the correct parts to make the rifle right. or i would keep on looking. -
both are two small for your needs. for a pto post hole digger you need a bigger tractor than these two. i got a yanmar 1602d that i did get my 3 pt hitch post hole digger to fit on but it was a lot of work to do. i used it to dig holes in places i could not get the my other tractors in to. i also have a ford 3910 and 4610. they are much better tractors for heavy work. the yanmars are gray market tractors and some are in better shape than others. they ship them over here packed in a conex box broken down. they get put back together along with fresh paint and some refurb. i was lucky with the one i got 15 years ago. it was done right and has never let me down. but the hours on them are not the correct hours. the hour meter rolls back to zero when it hits the nines. so a 154 hours could be 1,154 hours, 2,154, and so on. if a dealer/seller tells you the hours are correct i would walk away because he is lying. if you go with a yanmar go with the 4 wheel drive model. go as big as you can buy when it comes to tractors, you will never be under power it you do.

they work great if you prep the spot where you are going to put it. it has to be level, if not the door will give you major problems. you got to get one that is in good shape. you get what you pay for. go cheap you get junk. junk = wet storage. you will pay for someone getting it to your site. i have used them in the past. but,,,,, what i have found and using now at the farm is regular enclosed pulled behind trailers. easy to move around, easy to level, easy to sale when done with, cheaper in cost. just like a conex box but on wheels. you can find used one cheap and in great shape. i have found people will buy a 20 enclosed trailer, use it two or three times and they will sale it cheap to get it out of the driveway. which way you go put on the best lock you can find. the locks on the door is the weak point on a trailer/conex box.
