  1. nice sunny day this morning.  looks like over six inches of snow hit here.  the roads are a mess.  most should melt off the roads by this afternoon.
  2. big snow now,  back deck is deep.  got to be 6 to 7 inches now.   and it is still snowing.
  3. snow on the state line here. about 2 inches, could be more,  coming down hard and fast.  but the roads are just wet.
  4. democrats can lie and get away with it.  all others can not.  that is the way it is and will be that way for a long time.
  5. not to cold with a good wind. got up to 44 today, but the wind made it feel colder.   the ground is wet from the rain and the melt from the little snow.
  6. we got snow tonight.  not a lot, but it covered the ground and roads.  maybe a inch, two or three.  but it looks like the rain is coming in next.
  7. you have got to love these meth heads/pill heads.  they live in a different world.
  8. i rum irons on all my ar type guns.  the only ar i do not is my duty ar and it has eotech and irons.  i like irons.  when things go south and no more batteries can be found then the irons will still work.
  9. nice sunny day, but cold.  got some outside work done this afternoon.  they are calling for snow in the morning.  we will see.  so far not as bad as they say here and not as bad a last year.
  10. still raining.  back yard looks like a lake.  nothing else, but rain.
  11. no bread and milk or me.  never understood why you had to have bread and milk when things got bad.  i have lived all over the world and some places the snow got real bad.  have lost power for some time too.  but never saw the need for bread and milk.
  12. rain not much more.  looks like it is all we are going to get.
  13. snow, ice, rain.  it looks like we will/might/could get some of it.  but i don't care.  nothing i can do about it.  i can not stop it or change it.  i have learn to work with it.
  14. learn from history and move on.
  15. there is a three or four stage test of old powder.  but i don't remember all of the steps.  one is a smell test. one is to put some on white paper and roll it up/around.  if it leaves black mess on the paper it is bad.  one is to burn about a tea spoon of powder.  if it burns good it is good.  bad powder will not burn good/clean, it will pop and flash.  i call the maker of some old 1973 bullseye powder i had and they told me the tests.  the 1973 bullseye powder check out good and i used it in some 45 acp loads.   so the maker and asked them for the tests.
  16. a good one for this morning.
  17. With today's pocket guns there is no reason not to have a gun on yourself at all times.
  18. I have not seen any in a long time. I've got a little Jetfire i got in the 70's. I down to my last box. When I see any I buy a box or two.
  19. if you are looking for north georgia i would look at rome ga.  great area, lots of medical worker are need there.  several large lakes close by to fish.  cheap housing and good schools.  lots of good people too.  i go to the atlanta metro area several times a week.  i would not more there for ten times the pay.  school are bad, traffic is worst, mexicans have taken over most of the area along with other trash. look at the local atlanta metro area governments to see what you are facing.  watch the local atlanta news to see the crap.  this is even in the area that are outside of the belt way (285).    you need to look at the areas that are close to tn and n car areas.   ga has a state tax too.  if you are looking for a great town in tn take a look at chattanooga.  we are not that much out of control as compared to other major tennesse cities.
  20.   here you go, another yanmar guy.  yes the yanmar is one strong,a hard to break tractor and the price are right.
  21. the size of a tractor that you need is the hardest thing to do.  when you think you have the right size i would then go up one or two more sizes for the right size.  there is no "too big of tractor" for work around your place.  i got three tractors on the farm.  big one, ford 4910 that i use for the hay baler and hay cutter.  next to big one is a ford 3910 for most of the general heavy work around the place, it has a front end loader.  then the small one, a 20 hp 4x4 yanmar that gets more time than the other two.  all my tractors are gear driven, not hydro.  i like the ford tractors that were made in the 1980 to 1990. these were the last of the true ford tractors.  after this they were new holland/ford.   they to me seem to be the best heavy duty tractor going.  parts are easy to get.  easy to work on yourself.  strong and are easy of fuel.  you will see that you will pay more for the big name tractors.  i would look at used one first before you leap to a new one.  one of the best deals going is a yanmar.  several good dealers around, alabama has one.  but do your home work before buying one.  yanmar was the tractor builder for john deer for over 20 plus years.  they did the whole tractor for john deer.  they took their red yanmar tractor and paint it green for john deer.  even today yanmar stills builds the engine for john deer.  well they did until several years ago.  good luck on finding the right size/brand of tractor.
  22. welcome to the group state line guy.  if you look at the old maps, east ridge is in the state of georgia.  but that old fight went away years ago, except when atlanta needs water.
  23. love his music and loved to watch his movies.  saw him once and it was a great show.  it is sad that the people around him caused of his death.  they killed a good person.
  24. old video.  i watch this years ago when i was up grading my safe.  some good information.  so after watching it i call parker's safes and vaults to talk with aaron.  told him what i was looking for and got his input.  i end up with what i was looking for and got great service from aaron.
  25. back in the 60's we played army and cowboys every day at school and home.  everybody had toy guns.  we took them to school.  never had any problems.  what we did would never work today.  that is the problem with this nation now.  we are lost.
