  3. yes i have found their customer service is not good.  but they do make one of the best gun stock around.
  4. i got two 550 and they are hard to beat.  on one i added the strong mount, roller handle, a bullet tray.  it made it better and i am going to do it for the second one.  i found a led light kit for the 550 and it is one of the best upgrade going and it was around $26.00. i  found it on ebay.  i seen a primer bar roller system fix that should make the primer bar move better.  i have been thinking about getting it to see if it works.
  5. take it easy with the shoulder for several weeks.  if you don't it will keep on going out and you will end up seeing a doctor/operation.  been there, done that, got the t-shirt.

  10.   plus one.  i sit in a chair on the ground.  works good each year.
  11. too many people think they are owed a living from the government and the white middle class.
  12. good actor and a good show.
  13. none for me.  it does not matter. life is to short.
  14. i am in the same boat.  i been researching load data for the 35 rem.  i have call several of the powder makers and talked with them on a reduced cast lead loads.  i got several starting points but not the time to load and chronograph them.   i am going to get a good 35 rem cast lead load for nra cowboy silhouette matches that will work out to 200 meters.  i am going to be working up some cast lead loads in february when i finish the 357 mag cowboy silhouette loads and the rechecking of my 44 mags cowboy silhouette loads.  if you are going to do hunting loads any book data loads will work.  i am going to use a .38 cal bullet around the 158 gr size pus with either sr4756, unigue, bullseye, mp5744, and/or titegroup.   brass is hard to find.  i had a guy in concho az make me 200 rounds of brass from 308 brass.  he makes a good product.  you can find factory ammo if you use one of the ammo search sites.
  15. With the money saved from low gas prices you can use the saving to pay the increase in your health care increase.
  16. dillon gets my vote.  got my first 550 in the mid 80's.  got a second used one many years later.  they are hard to beat.  so any dillon will work.
  17. call or email them and tell them "no to a gas tax".  they will do it anyway.  then when it is time for re-election we need to remember to vote them out.
  18. heavy rain here all day.  got up this morning and had a very large tree down in the side yard.  the tree just fell over.  well it looks like i either have to cut it up myself or see what a tree crew will charge to do it.
  19. not me, but my wife got two.  she is so good.
  20. during this time of the year i make a point of telling everyone "merry christmas".  i love the looks i get from the younger group.  they are just not with it.  they act a shame to say it back or just in hearing it.  that is what wrong with our country.  there will be a time when the american way will be gone unless we wake up.
  21. not a bad group for a old war rifle and the old ammo that was used.  check the group at 100 plus to see what you get.  remember these rifle were made to hit a man size target and were mass product.  check group at long distance to see what she will do.
  22. Merry Christmas to all and all a good night.
  23. you need to go life member if you can.   sometime times they offer reduce rates for life membership.  one time several years ago you could get a life membership for $300.00.
  24. joke of the day from "the keeper's babe of the day".  a very good one at that.
  25. what are you going to use the rifle for?   that will tell you what type of stock to get.  these days you have many stocks.  not like it was many mango season ago, all you had was a wood stock.
