Great idea. I think I'll have to pick up some paint balls on my trip to Walmart. Thanks for sharing it.

Nice. Just ride carefully, and assume that everyone around you IS going to pull out in front of you, change lanes without looking etc. Most of them will, especially the ones with cell phones stuck to their ears. And definitely make sure you wear good protective gear. Have fun, and be safe!

Very nice. Thanks for sharing the photos and the info.

Welcome. Lots of good information on here. Have fun exploring the site.

I'll also usually check the "completed" auctions for the same item to see what they have sold for in the past. As others have said, if it's a popular item or if it is unique it can be tough. But if there are several of them out there pretty consistently, that makes it easier. I decided a few weeks ago that I wanted something. I did some research to see what it would cost new, checked to see how many of them were listed (several), and looked at the completed auctions to get an idea of what they were generally sellling for. I noticed a wide range of closing prices on the completed auctions. It took a couple of weeks, but eventually I won one within the price range I was willing to pay and I was happy with it. Good luck!

That looks really good. You did a great job refinishing that one.

Hey Laktrash, it looks like you need a bigger couch! We've got 2 rescue dogs, they're not Danes, but I strongly agree with checking out the rescue organizations. They're usually great people who love dogs and you know you're giving a second chance to an animal who really needs it. I wouldn't trade our 2 rescue dogs for anything. Good luck, I hope you can find a new addition to your family!

Sorry to hear about Sadie. Our dogs are our kids, and sometimes we spend more on their vet bills than on our doctor bills. Doesn't work for everybody, but it does for us. Hope things turn out ok. Keep us posted.

Welcome to TGO. Lots of good stuff here. I know you'll enjoy it. But I must warn you that you'll wind up spending more time here than you expected, and it will cost you money for guns and accessories you didn't know you needed. So be prepared!

That is beautiful. I bet he'll love it. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk

Welcome home. And thank you for your service. Now spend the next few weeks relaxing and spending as much time as possible with your family. You'll be back in the regular work grind before you know it. Have a Merry Christmas!

I agree with the other comments. It's thin and light weight and easier to conceal than a Glock or 1911. It's not something I would go shoot a box of shells through just for fun, but it is certainly manageable, and it was surprisingly accurate for me. I haven't had a single misfeed or misfire in mine. I definitely recommend it.

Yep, I'm looking forward to seeing this one too.

Welcome to TGO. Lots of good folks, and good info here. Hope you enjoy it.

Very nice. Congratulations on picking up a nice one.

Nice choice. Looks like a good option. Thanks.

I'm thinking about going to this one. I've skipped the last few just because it is so crowded out at the Agricenter that you can't hardly even walk between the tables. I'll probably try to go first thing Sat morning and get out before it gets too crowded. That may not work, but I'll give it a shot.

For the use you described, I would definitely go PF9. It's thinner, and lighter. If you can find a shop that has both, you probably should hold both of them side by side. If you go to Keltec's website you'll see the actual specs and the differences don't seem huge, but holding them in person the P11 seemed signficantly bigger and heavier to me.

You might check with some of the local pawn shops, depending on where in Memphis you're located. Here are two I've used with very good results. In Raleigh I've used AA Pawn Shop at 2830 Austin Peay Hwy. #1, and they were $25 + $10 TIC. The owner and the primary employee are both into Cowboy action shooting so they love to talk guns. See "Doc" or "Tumbleweed". Phone is 901.372.8051 Or if you ever head up Hwy 51 into Tipton County, I've used 51 Pawn Shop at 14382 Hwy 51. I usually deal with Micah, who is the manager. Phone is 901.837.274. They were also $ 25 + $ 10. Good luck.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing the pics. -
Dropped mine in the mail earlier this week. I answered "most" of the questions. It actually didn't take as long as I thought it might.

"How about some before and after pics? Are you going to use oil or varnish? " Sorry to be slow in replying, I just now got back to this thread. I'm using Tru-oil. I'm just about finished, hopefully I'll put it back together this weekend. I kept intending to take a few pictures before I started but never did it. But I will take a few pics when it's done. This is the first time I've ever tried to refinish anything, but so far I'm pleased with the way it looks. Definitely better than when I brought it home.

Sweet. I like the way you think! I went to the dentist Wednesday and it never crossed my mind to use that as a reason to "NEED" a new one! I'll remember that for the next trip.
