  1. Range USA - no contest.
  2. Have seen some good recomendations on their 9mm. Having trouble finding it myself.
  3. Welcome. I really love the southwest. Cheers
  4. Welcome! Any good shops/ranges in Jackson? Got an M&P 9 myself. A goodun. Cheers
  5. Thanks, I have been there. Great place. Hope to drop in there tomorrow actually. Cheers,
  6. Right! William's logic makes no sense. Can't believe he's in NRA.
  7. Thanks = just curious. Had a new Taurus owner tell me this a few days ago. Sounds like someone told him a story (salesman).
  8. Agreed. $10 entry fee, money down the drain. Was not impressed.
  9. Not totally relevant, but is Taurus owned by S&W?

    M&P 9mm, Full-Size

Keep it clean. After each session. Got a standard M&P 9. Do like it. Agree about trigger comments. Gets better with age.

    New G26

Congrats. Heading down the road myself.
  12. Welcome. Pretty big ears on that horse yer on.
  13. Tried ear plugs once and never again. Got a decent set from Browning. Muffs & glasses for around $30. Does the job. However, I would not mind getting the electronic type so you can hear conversations without removing muffs. Many good ones described above, if you want to pay the extra cash.
  14. Boy I hate they cancelled. I was driving in to work, waiting to hear it. Never did. I hate they moved you to 8:10. I'll be in work then. No way I can tune in then. Oh well. Btw, even though they sound pro-gun, I'm fairly confident one or both of them are Obama fans. Careful.
  15. Take her to an "intro-beginners" class, then an intermediate. Let her try several types of guns. Don't pick one for her. I'll bet she will gravitate to a revolver of some kind, at first. I'd leave the carry class for a few months down the road from the intro class. You really have to tread lightly here. Yes, girlfriends who shoot will help as well.
  16. Well Memphis is a bit far, but Range USA sometimes does a "ladies only" carry class. Have seen it on Saturdays, all day, starts early. You'd have to come in Friday night. Just a thought. They treat everyone with the utmost respect.
  17. Have fun while in our fair town! Range USA is the best.
  18. I really like the standard factory sites on Glocks (goalpost, U sort of thing on rear). For what it's worth...
  19. Found a fairly decent gym bag w/ several pockets. Not something I'd go too crazy over (searching/buying for).
  20. Looking forward to it. I'll be listening. Break a leg!
  21. Hey, thanks for the advice on the ammo.
  22. Good point on the made in USA. Looks like that gets ignored in this area (handguns) quite a bit. I have a full size M&P 9mm. Like it pretty well. Not great, but good. I don't see carrying it though. Looking for something smaller for that.
  23. While I agree with most of her points, I just don't like her delivery. She comes off like a real Bee-otch.
  24. Rem 870 IMO.
  25. That percentage of sales stuff will just cause problems. Either leave it alone, or make it consuption-site carry with no restrictions. If you want to throw them a bone, add the bit about no drinking while carrying. You should not drink while carrying or gambling for that matter. Both are risk heavy situations and alchohol just leads to poor decisions.
