Ok, you live in Martin. Come to Memphis. Go to RangeUSA where they have a decent assortment to rent to shoot. They can also give good advice on a purchase and will sell you one too. They will probably have to order it. Not a bad wait. Or, if you're in a big hurry go to Guns and Ammo where they have a huge selection, but an equally huge attitude. Having done the latter myself, and much to my shagrin. I'd advise the former, which is what I did on my second HG purchase.

Yes, it was a banner day for the CA. Several anti-gun angled stories. As far as the main story, I just have to wonder this...why do these creeps even bother to get an HCP anyway? I mean they are going to do the crap they do regardless! That's what the CA doesn't get. The HCP is totally irrelevant to their behavior. It's almost like they think it makes people James Bond, with a "license to kill".

We're getting help from western state Dems. Two in Montana just sent Eric Holder a note telling him to back off too. These guys are getting an earful from their constituents I'll guarantee you. Probably from the NRA too.

Once again, this is all about people (the sheep) thinking that folks who carry are potential criminals. And recent "bad shoots" in Memphis by two permit holders does not help our case. They don't get the idea that criminals, knowing there isn't likely to be a carrier present, will target those exact areas. More guns, in the hands of law-abiding critzens is the best deterrent. I would not worry too much about Glocks blowing up, but per their warranty, I'd avoid reloads. I don't use them at all personally, regardless of manufacturer.

Took it myself a couple of weeks ago. Bottom line is, shooting to wound is not a good idea, for reasons stated above.
